check out elitefts. They always have high quality products. I think they have 20% off right now too.

I have tried many strap by far the best without a doubt are my Versa Gripps. Not kidding

Versa Gripps - Versa Gripps Professional - BLACK - Weightlifting and straps, mens workout gloves, weightlifting gear, weightlifting exercises (http://store.versagripps.com/cart/product/8192/Versa_Gripps_Professional__BLACK/)

Before i switched to those I was using these Spuds

Santa brought them

If you get a chance to try them the cost may not matter to you.

no matter how I grip the bar, my grip will always give out before my back muscles do. I use a thick canvas type of strap

Harbinger Lifting Strap Weight Benches & Home Gyms (http://www.big5sportinggoods.com/product/weight-benches-home-gyms/478242-152522/harbinger-lifting-strap.html)

Try out the harbinger lifting straps...not exactly the softest around but pretty damn good for what I got em for.

x2 on the harbingers, I used a pair like those for years. I don't use them often but when I need straps those do the job. I also use chalk.

DJ is right. It'll keep it from slipping. However, if your grip is just too weak regardless of the chalk, then look at alternative methods like straps. During rows, my grip simply gives out too soon with anything over 275, so at that point, I get out the straps.

I use hooks. I prefer hooks than straps.

I find these to be head and shoulders above any of the wrist straps that are just one piece.

Yeah I don't wear them for every lift but for some lifts they come in handy. These don't have movement like I found with other wraps causing irritation on the wrists either.

I have been using these Iron Mind straps (Strong-Enough Lifting Straps for strongman, WSM - IronMind-ironmind (http://www.ironmind-store.com/Strong-Enough-Lifting-Straps153/productinfo/1239/)) for years now with great success. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to pull heavy weight. In the past I would use cheaply made straps and they would rip during my sets of heavy pulls. I have yet to have these show signs of ripping.

I just use my hands and occasionally chalk. I am curious to give straps a try one day.

Just be careful, use them when needed and not as a crutch. Too many people use them and rely on them for way to many things.

I have used the Altus Style lightweight leather straps for 20 years..

They are the softest straps you will find IMO...

They can snap in half though because they are super thin, but these are my preference
