Want ice cream without all the added sugar and carbs? Follow me

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup of ricotta cheese
1 scoop of flavored whey protein (your choice)
Unsweetened almond milk (to desired consistency or so it blends smoothly, eyeball it)
2 tbsp Splenda granular

INSTRUCTIONS:

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, stirring until blend is about the same consistency as soft serve ice cream. Make sure you are able to blend it all smoothly. Place in freezer until frozen. Enjoy!

alternative delish ice cream:

slice and freeze about 4 bananas. 2 hrs in the freezer should do it.
blend them till ice cream-ish consistency
add about 1 to 1.5 tbsp of PB
blend again
consume and rejoice

Sounds good, but definitely not low carb. A typical banana has about 14 grams of sugar.

I'd still be willing to try it when I'm not on a low-carb diet.
