Five Finger Death Punch does it for me - these guys kick ass and have so many lines I wish I had said.
Have seen them live three times - and they are better live than on youtube.

What songs motivate you to give that extra mile?

Five Finger Death Punch exemplifies my work out music - so here are a few examples

This one kills it for me - my favorite "Have I got another set / rep" song ever

Lift me Up

Five Finger Death Punch - (featuring Rob Halford of Judas Priest) Lyric Video - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-2yuGgp_U8)

Angry music - fuck yeah - and these guys exemplify it

Burn it Down - Live - Crowd Sucks BTW - we killed it in Calgary

Revolver Golden Gods 2013 - Five Finger Death Punch - Burn it Down - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrzsS1siYWE)

and this one is on every workout playlist too - one of the best lines ever

C'es la vie - adios - good riddance - FUCK YOU !!

Five Finger Death Punch - Under And Over It - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLk75fFXqH4)

as is Dot your eyes

"ready to throw down - this is about a showdown - you got the memo ? cause this is all about to go down !!! "

Five Finger Death Punch - Dot Your Eyes - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1i6a1WgmvRY)

In case you think that Ivan can't sing

Five Finger Death Punch - Remember Everything - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7G8QItjTSDA)

and watch them tear your heart out for every relationship gone bad

Acoustic in 2008

Five finger Death punch- the bleeding (acoustic) - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mGzPHsiR8g)

And they rock live ( Ivan on vocals is awesome and one of the best drummers in the business)

And just to mix it up

The Pride

So what do you listen to to make you work through that 20th rep of squats É

This is maybe strange but I never listen to music during my workout. Never.

I just watch sitcoms on TV. This is the best way to get motivation to do my workout. When I'm not motivated to train or too tired, this is my best motivation.

I watch Game if thrones anf Falling skies for the moment.

To answer to your post, I listened to music via my iPod when I go to the gym, several years ago. But now I train at home in my home gym and TV is best for me.
Several years ago I listened to rock music, Californian rock music was my best music to train

I listen to a lot of stuff, mainly high-bpm music to keep me going. Some of it I don't like to admit to, but it works.

Oddly, Lady GaGa works very well.

I have never listened to music when I've trained. I've tried of course,it mo thank you!

I find it too distracting. I'm not a very good multitasker, and with my untreated ADD/ADHD I'd get nothing done.

The wires and iPod always got in the way as well, or would constantly fall out my pocket.

I hate the douchebags who sing out loud in the gym to their music, and never hear you when you say excuse me. Just always in the way...FUCK Ibhate them so much!

Ultimately I listen to music on my way to the gym to get psyched up. Recently a lot of Action Bronson and RA. The Rugged Man, but some Nonphixion throwbacks too, for sure.

I like the occasional hardcore rap song to get me going, but I find that listening to this for an hour straight isn't doable. For me the all-around best choice is classic rock, Eagles, Stones, Zeppelin and the like. has a good beat but enough variety and actual talent that it doesn't get repetitive and annoying like the currently popular music can. occasionally if a great song comes on like Stairway to Heaven I will time the hardest efforet to coincide with the apex of the song, really pumps me up and makes me feel awesome

I'll chime in here. I don't really listen to music when lifting, but always do during my post-workout cardio when I do it, definitely helps with the monotony. My top three are Slipknot, Mudvayne, and Godsmack, but I also like to plug in some (old) Offspring, Disturbed, and (old) Linkin Park. Great music to listen to workout or not .

i listen to single songs for heavy sets. usually with a drop intended for the rep range to be carried out in.

Hardwell - Spaceman (Carnage Festival Trap Remix) - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=493Hlvc0PMw)

i get bored of them quick... this is a classic bench song. listen to everything up to 1:08 then thats when i would start a set. as soon as the set is over, the song is turned off lol

I used to use rap and hip hop as my workout music, but once I started DJing, it gave me an opportunity to give my practice mixes a listen while lifting. The genre (or electronic in general) is incredible well suited towards working out.
