Was doing some research on daily Tadalafil on PubMed and came across this article.

It has two very significant findings - first of all in this study the use of daily Tadalafil for two months did NOT increase natural testosterone

1006

Whereas the use of the supplement in question, Tradaxamina, had a huge effect.

1007

In addition - they state "this substance is able to increase the endogenous production of testosterone, dihydrotestosterone, a hormone luteinizing hormone (LH), dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) and dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEA-S) [30,31].

One concern I have is they mention nothing about what it does to estrogen - Tadalafil is known to improve Testosterone / Estrogen ratios

So what is Tradaxamina? From the paper ... “Tradamixina” (150 mg of Alga Ecklonia Bicyclis, 396 mg of Tribulus Terrestris and 144 mg of D-Glucosamine and N-Acetyl-D-Glucosamine). I have never heard of Alga Ecklonia Bicyclis - but I thought that the testosterone enhancement capabilities of Tribulus in humans were pretty much discounted ? see for example

The authors claim no competing interests and don't mention if funded by the manufacturer.

Anyways - the whole article is here - I am going to do some more research on it as the effects appear massive (as well as the erections it produces :) ). This may be a good opportunity for one of you guys who likes to blend their own capsules for sale - maybe tweak the formula (piperine or something else added) and come out with a new T enhancing supplement. I would like a two month free trial if you do and will log it !!

This second article is about the same substance reducing lower urinary tract (prostate) symptoms.

Well go figure - fucking lying bastards.

Competing interests

The authors declare that they have no competing interests

That is interesting - I guess the fact that the principal author, Fabrizio Iacono, happens to hold a patent on the Algae derived substance that is the principal ingredient is somehow not a competing or vested interest ? Study is not done by independent researchers - so definitely has to be taken with a grain of salt. If it is too good to be true - it probably isn't.

Patent EP2477633A1 - - Google Patents (http://www.google.com/patents/EP2477633A1)

He has applied for Canadian, US, Chinese, European and World Patents.

IMHO, the patent can easily be gotten around - but it is now questionable whether there is merit in getting around it. His first claim states

Dietary supplement stimulating the male sexual function comprising:
- Tribulus terrestris, - glucosamine oligosaccharide, - alga Ecklonia comprising fat-soluble polyphenols

Changing the mixture - using the alga for example but replacing Tribulus with Maca may be all that is needed to get around the patent formulation.
