Creatine HCL taste

I got some bulk creatine HCL a while back. It tastes kinda like salt. I'm guessing that's probably from the chloride in the HCL, correct? I'm not a damned chemist!!! Anyway, does it taste salt-ish to anyone else?

creatine HCl I get more of a tart/sour note from but maybe a hint of salt. HCl and unflavored PeptoPro, THAT is the breakfast of champions.

Wait. HCL has a taste? Always mixed it with peptopro, so never noticed it over the flavor.

I wouldn't say it has a taste, but the acidity of that stuff is off the charts. It's like swallowing battery acid.

Acidity is something I'd expect. HCl=hydrochloric acid.

It tastes like salt mixed with vitamin c and aspirin. It's awful. Gives me heartburn too if I don't split doses
