Looks like this might be happening soon. Think of what that muight mean for some previously weaker or speculative drugs.

I'm going to venture a guess and say that chemo-therapy directly into the brain will cause immediate brain cell death. That shit kills every cell it touches. Probably the most ridiculous way to try and "cure" cancer.

While chemo is bad stuff, it doesn't work like that exactly. It functions by slowing or stopping cell division or rapidly dividing cells, like those in a tumor.

My point is chemo damages every cell it comes into contact with, healthy or cancerous. It doesn't discriminate. Not something I'd want to put into my brain.

I was thinking more along the lines like gabba, it'd be effective if it could be engineered to cross the barrier. must be tons of other chems in the same boat
