Well, no more need for Res 100. You can't beat the original SA topical. Far superior product to any of the oral formulations, and at only $29.

I'm going to buy a tube just to have on hand for occasional acne.

You may just have to do a back to back blood test comparison before you say no need for Res100.

My main reason for loving topical SA, besides the fact there's universal agreement that it worked and worked extremely well, is that it will put acne into long-term remission. I had severe cystic acne on my back. Sustain Alpha cleared it up and it stayed gone for a year.

I shared this news with others on the PP forums, who followed suit and had the same results. Then I found some studies pointing to how effective transdermal resveratrol is at treating acne. This is great news.

Hey man,

What is it about the Res in the sustain alphs that helps acne?

Does that mean Res has some type of inhibiter effect on DHT levels?

Sustain alpha was one of the first things I tried after crashing from a DHT inhibiter and to be honest made me feel good. The stuff was awesome.

But I'm wondering if I should be taking it now if it is a DHT inhibiter.

I also remember PP charging approx 75 per bottle if I rember correctly so this price is real good

I'll say it yet again. Res/sustain, etc...IS NOT a DHT inhibitor.

Opposed to an experiment I did last year with saw P which made me feel worse. Therefor I know when I inhibit DHT level I feel worse. I will deff be getting sustain. Actually I'm going to use it as a part of my pct after taking andro300 or alpha hard.

I'm thinking use the Sustain alpha every day while rotating The natural T boostets using the one herb for 2 days only method. I figure the sustain will control increased E that the extremely effective method of rotating T boostets could cause. So the pct could look somthing like this:

Pine pollin every day

Sustain alpha every day

Rotating of T boosters every day

The testosterone recovery stack from wicked sups:

The Ultimate Stack Wicked Supplements (http://www.wickedsupplements.com/products-page/product-stacks/the-ultimate-stack/)

That should deff cover just a simple 4-6 week course of alpha hard right ?

You have to love unintended consequences. The lawmakers are merely making the dark side that much more profitable. Truth be known, though, the dark side can be much safer as long as someone keeps their wits about themselves. I'd much rather subject my body to a cycle of test than a cycle of Superdrol or methylsten if given the choice.

Couple questions:
a) Would this be useful for helping to control estrogen on TRT? I'm interested in trying not to take pharmaceutical AIs
b) Is there a site-specific benefit? i.e. aromatase inhibition on the abs when applied there? or is it more systemic?

Freepressright should be a spokesperson for the rebirth of PP topicals. I swear that guy has sold me on more unavailable products than I can count (actually just SA and 1-T)

SA was so effective as an AI for me that I took half the dose of everyone else and it was effective. CDsnuts said something similar, and I think BBG had similar results. I would tell you that I believe it could be great at controlling estrogen on TRT.

As for local effect, I don't know. I was wondering the same thing myself.

I weigh 200lbs. I went 3 days @ 4 pumps so far. 1st 2 days very euphoric easy going "alpha" feeling. Today I have been IRRITABLE. I'm going to dial it down to 2 pumps. This happened also with a topical Res product from Prototype Nutrition "R-Spray". I think it's just a matter of finding a sweet spot. And I've seen a few others mentioned running lower than recommended.

Would anyone know if the gel version per pump would be stronger than the lotion version? 4 of lotion was my sweet spot (half a decade ago lol)

Don't forget that a scrotal pump is almost 2x more effective. If you want more SA bang for your buck, a pump on your sack goes a long way.

And I always believe less is more with this stuff. Start low and find your sweet spot by increasing if you need to. The moodiness is terrible on this stuff if you zap your estrogen too hard with a big dose.

Totally agree. Also works with dermacrine. Some guys only use 2 or 3 pumps just to get that hormonal cascade while on other compounds.

Always recommend starting at the minimum dosage. 2 is usually the minimum, unless you're really sensitive to the product. Glad it's working out for you!

To answer your pm, yes, dermacrine and sustain alpha together go great with trt.

+1 on dosage recommendations. I went 2.5 pumps and that is just right. Not irritable but libido is off hook. Better sense of well being too. I didn't do the scrotal dose (only because I OD so easy on this stuff). 32yo, 200 lbs for perspective.

Nice review. People forget how potent resveratrol is. Orally it doesn't do much, but transdermally it really is a great AI.

It kills my Estrogen orally as well.

Must be several formulas that work...not just gel hey!

Would you use it daily with breaks, or cycle it like the other herbs?

I'm sorry, I meant just plain oral dosing. Unless someone is ingesting 1gram+ a day.

Best yes Res100 works as well!

You can use it daily or use it just when you need an AI. Resveratrol has a lot of health benefits, even increasing blood flow to the brain.

I was asking more in terms of how someone who already cycles all herbs daily would choose to use it.

I'd like to hear this too. I know the original recommendation was the run it 5 on, 2 off.

FPR, somewhat related to the SA discussion, I remember you saying that it cleared up acne on your shoulders and back when you used it. Have you ever used prototype nutritions R-Spray?
If so with any similar result? I've ordered some SA and waiting for it to come in, but I've got a bottle of R-spray sitting around, was wondering if it was the resveratrol that cleared up your skin issues.

Yes, this first happened when I ran the original topical Dermacrine, which has trans-resveratrol. I already had a terrible case of cycstic-level acne on my back. I had tried back scrubbers with salicylic acid washes and benzyl peroxide. Neither of which worked.

By chance, I ran Dermacrine, and within a couple of weeks of applying to my upper trunk and down my shoulders to my low back, my acne vanished, even below the application site. I used SA in PCT and acne stayed gone. It was in remission for about six months past when I ceased use of the SA and only came back when I used a different PH later.

I repeated the SA with the same success. I had, in the meantime, seen an article with study links about h ow transdermal resveratrol effectively treated acne. For me, there's never been anything more powerful.

I've never tried R-spray. I've often wondered if it would work in a similar fashion.
