Hi Guys,

11/5/2015
Ferritin 129 (28-365) ng/ml

12/2/2015
Ferritin 161 (28-365) ng/ml

It didn't take much to bump my Ferritin Levels up, minimal amount of supplementation. There's mixed opinion on the optimal range for Ferritin levels. Figure, I'd throw this out and see what you guys have to say. I'm guessing 180 to 200 ng/ml?? Since I respond well to iron supplements, I don't want to over shoot.

Thanks

I've been reading about this for some time now. Some articles are here:
The iron elephant - The dangers of iron overload -- Health Wellness -- Sott.net (http://www.sott.net/article/263834-The-iron-elephant-The-dangers-of-iron-overload)

Also Bill Sardi writes quite a lot on the subject. punch 'Bill Sardi iron' into google

According to the first 2 studies the 'ideal' level may be 40-60 ng/ml, much lower than your level. if longevity is your aim (and be sure to read Bill Sardi's articles here) then you might want to lower it with IP6 or blood donation.
