Hi guys

I'm new here and I'm desperately seeking an answer to a question, with pfs do sexual symptoms always manifest? I'm all good on the sexual side of thongs but am suffering badly with cognitive and physical symptoms, I'm praying to god its something else but seeing as I came off fin 3 months ago I'm pretty skeptical.

I got only mental and physical..Not sexual really..Physical are the worst imo..kept getting larger..Most don't do this and mainly get mental or sexual sides but I believe it's due to finasteride tinkering with your brain..

Same here I have brain fog and severe weight gain with gyno as well! I was hoping it may be a thyroid problem! Did your hair keep falling out after you stopped fin? Mine has so it must mean the dht is back surely.

Have you had any blood tests done? If so did they show any abnormalities?

It is not thyroid..i had best labs you could get and thyroid was perfect he said..You can see them here if you search my posts..its like water filled flab all over torso..Some gain a little with pfs, some lose, most don't gain as much as I did..All my hormones were low normal pretty much..As far as hair goes I never shed much hair in my life before finasteride or noticed any..After taking the med it sheds constantly all over and is quite annoying..But the small thinning around crown didn't come back so I don't think dht is working correctly..As for the shedding this is caused by a hormone imbalance that finasteride causes..In fact as in my cause your hair can totally change even the structure and texture of the hair is totally different now than before pfs..

Yes but I think brain fog is kind of a poor term for it..I had a very persistent type of physcosis to do self harm..Dark thoughts and depression..But I am a lot better now and still trying..i have anxiety from my physical appearance..I gained 50lbs or now and after 3 months I had not gained much..I kept slowly getting worse and it took months and months and just kept going as test slowly drops...

Im led to believe the weight gain around the abdomen is ascites from liver damage

It could very well be liver related..I had pain on that area while on the drug and liver plays big role in hormone metabolism..A lot of this is water and working outside and gettibg hit causes a tremendous increase in the swelling..My growth hormone being nothing doesn't help either I'm sure.I think he's gonna want me to try hgh injections but not sure yet...Also anyone notice ammonia smelling stools?

one guy recovered fully by using artichoke pills for 90 days on solvepfs. i've been using them for 2 weeks so far. doing so much other stuff though so can't tell if it's helping or not.

yeah but I think it's more to do the the pregnanalone helping me sleep better.

liver i think is affected for me cause i have high cortisol so the liver has to break that down.
