Hey all I would like to know what you think about this amino acid. I have read it helps to repair the gut, but are there any drawbacks from it? have any of you guys tried it?

Keep strong.

It's very good, English used it a lot during his recovery.
Best way to get it naturally is bone broth.

Your thread title should be L-Glutamine, is it good for the gut?

I believe it is. I just got some + FOS for gerd and unrelenting heartburn seems to have knocked it out.

I tried Muscle Fiber a while back and liked that but this time I just got the raws cause it was quicker and easier.

Heartburn is tied into diet. If you get it often, something you're ingesting is not agreeing with you. You're better off doing an elimination diet to find the culprit instead of masking it with supplements. It also is a sign of high acidity. Again, something that can be cured with proper diet.

What is good for the gut is good for recovery.
