Hi guys

I started r andro 5 days ago 200mg a day

Since then my fatigue has got so so bad

I’m wondering could this be because of the liver as I have had elevated liver results in the past

Please let me know your thoughts

Thanks
Daniel

It’s entirely normal. Some days on R Andro you just feel like staying on the couch. Nothing to do with your liver - if anything, androsterone is pro liver.

Let’s take it back to basics here - have you fasted or juice feasted?

Are you following a paleo diet, with carb backloading, and a healthy lifestyle without alcohol or any stimulants (besides coffee)?

Did you cycle herbs for awhile before running the prohormones?

All of the above I am doing except I don't follow paleo strictly, probably about 75% of the week

But yes maybe I have jumped the gun here and need to revist further down the line

Thanks

isn't the reason why is because androsterone is highly gabaergic so makes u feel too calm in a way and therefore lazy?

This is one reason, yes. This is also why you sleep better on this PH

Hey gents, been a little while since I posted. I also have issues when I try taking Andro. I don't get fatigue, I start to get that anxious/de-realization feeling. I'm on protocol, and have tried twice now. The first time I felt that way on day one, so I stopped and went back on the herb cycle. The second time I felt really good until day 5, then I started having the same feelings. I've always been very sensitive to to meds/supplements. I'm thinking it has to do with my colon. I have a family hx of IBD. My grandma died of colon ca due to ulcerative colitis (UC), and my brother has really bad UC (he may need his colon removed). Also, when I crashed my colon was an absolute wreck. I was crapping blood, severe abd pain/cramping, nausea, the whole nine yards. Almost like fin induced IBD. Got a colonoscopy and the MD diagnosed me with crohn's based on my family hx, and wanted me to take IBD meds...I'm not doing it. I, obviously, have a genetic propensity for IBD, but I never had severe symptoms until fin. So, I'm thinking, maybe this propensity makes me slightly more sensitive to things than your average individual. Gonna do another juice feast, and try again. Hopefully I can get through a full 4/wk cycle this time. Lemme know if you guys have any other advice. Thanks.

A water fast would be the best bet for you if you can make it happen. Two weeks, min. With that combo, yeah....you gotta shut the system down and let it get some rest and healing.

Yeah, I was thinking about that. Not in a place where I can take 2 weeks off, yet. Gonna try another juice feast, then try again. If that doesn't cut it, I'm gonna go for the water fast. What is the longest water fast you'd recommend doing home? 1 week?

Lethargy is normal for some with anything that increases DHT, as it opposes estrogen.

This isn't why the lethargy is caused, fyi

For some people it does...it's constitution dependent...

I worked out nearly every single day I took randro and 4andro but for sure I was more awake after some time, on nothing. Just fought through it, either worked out 4-7am when I was really awake or 10pm (also awake at night). It was worth it for lean body mass gains, fat loss, and also more androgenicness. Maintained most gains (ripped at 172 to 198lb). Tirednesss 4-7months of cycling was worth it down the line. Can go weeks without anything. But I do use coffee and some adhd medicine for work / school. If I want to take it easy I can not take those too. PFS wise fine. I still like randro but I think mini cycles and stuff it didn't feel quite the same... maybe just stops working after a time. I did prohormones and pct a year or so.

Reading a book so here the quote
"Exposure to cold temperatures also stimulates your gut buddies to produce more of two beneficial neurotransmitters, GABA and serotonin, both which help extend life span". - Steven Gundry

i actually welcome the lethargy, not that I don’t feel it off cycle, I do but not as often..

.as long as I do what I gotta do in terms of protocol and responsibilities, the lethargy helps me chill out and puts me in that semi tired state where you get random erections easier.. I remember being super tired during high school and college with hard ons all the time. That feeling.

Hell yeah. Did you or anyone else see any benefit to adding potassium to androhard
cycles?

I had more difficulty falling asleep on r-andro than anything. I would wake up sometimes with a racing heart. The bigger issue has been strange derealization and brain symptoms: difficulty concentrating, feeling like my head is in multiple places at once, slurred speech. Im 5 days done with my cycle now and these symptoms haven't fully subsided either.

How long were you on the protocol before cycling?

I did a two week juice cleanse and then jumped on the androhard. But I've been dieting and training similar to you for years. I didn't want to use the herbal rotation because I am afraid I might have a bad reaction to something. I reacted poorly to a tribulus supplement a few years back, couldn't catch my breath and passed out. Keep in mind I crashed way back in 2011..

I think I will try the herbs now because guys on here have been telling me it's helped them a lot, and that I shouldn't have jumped into the r-andro so quick.

I actually tried pine pollen a couple days ago and noticed more energy/libido within an hour. It didn't help much with the brain fog though. Brain fog has been nasty lately.
