mine looks exactly like this, just dark grey.
its a golf 4 wagon 4motion.
ASZ engine (diesel) with bigger PD elements (BOSIO), a stage2 GTVB (by h-turbo.de), unique software (how i wanted it), sachs racing sport clutch, koni undercarriage, golf 4 r32 rims with pirelli pzero and for sure darkened windows.
produces 200hp and 400nm. eats about 8litres bp ultimate diesel.

shits pricey for sure - i pay alone for fucking 130hp (stock) about 150eur per month - engine tuning isnt allowed here, even a software isnt. 1litre bp ultimate costs 1.52eur whereas regular costs ~1.404eur. theres a HUGE difference though, esp with my setup. beat stock vr6 engines with that car.

no need for a bigger car - because A; we have pollution zones (a corvette could never ever see berlin, munich, hamburg etc - or youll pay a shit ton to be allowed) and B; ex schoolmate owns a subaru wrx sti and pays 500eurs per month only to own that car.

I get 26-28 miles per gallon on the hwy, and about 17-20 in the city depending on how heavy my foot is. Thats with a 5.7L V8 w 465hp w 445# fts of torque.

They're awesome man! I car stops on a freaking dime now. I think the rotors are very often overlooked on a truck that hauls heavy loads. It's a big safety improvement imo.

Agreed. I warped the last pair pretty good and when I took them off, I realized I had worn into them about 1/8". Definitely time for a swap out. New pair has a no warp/crack lifetime guarantee.

I was guessing mid 11s. I haven't raced mine, but my friend has the identical truck setup and pulled 12.9, not bad for a big fat beast.

13,7litres (how we count it here) - highest i ever was, were 8.2litre - paddled to the medal though.
thats not an issue at all - benzine engines eat more than diesels.
the problem is regular pollution those cars produce.

however, owning a car in europe is a bit of luxury. you hardly see cars over 150hp as a dailywhore.

VW and AUDI produce solid engines and transmissions.
that 1.9litre VW engine runs approx 400t kilometers. easy modable to 200hp. 200hp and above gets really pricey...

best part is that switchable software - you dont know how annoying that BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEEP from that traction- and ESP system can be in the winter if i use the 200hp setup... especially at that snow chaos right now.

I'm just south of Source Automotive, a big name in performance Dodge cummins trucks. You may have heard of them. They built my tranny...billet input/output shafts. I won't be going crazy with much more... when injector performance takes a dive, I'll put some small Flux F-1s in it... would like to do Colt Cam and maybe a 62/65 turbo someday, but not until economy picks up.

Scope75
12-06-2012, 01:40 AM
I've heard and reed about source automotive and I was once big into diesel performance but at the time I could only afford a diesel and not much performance. Now that I'm older(27), the truck is about paid off and I'm moving into town I'll be going completely threw the truck and will be doing a coilover setup up front and something a little smoother out back with some traction bars and helper bags for when I tow.
Injectors will be flux f-?, I'll need to freshen up on my twin and cam info because its been a few years and I know there's better things out know than then.

its good on the snow, so good car to have here. snow is becoming novelty in CO though. al gore was right??!?

Lol. Haha. Yeah we have snow in a large part of the state. It's good for all around wilderness. Lots of folks in theory take them up to mt hood. They usually don't. Still have studded tires for icy days here in the valley. Which is hardly ever.

Best way to eat an avocado is to find a ripe one on under a tree walk to a lemon tree pick one of those slice up avo and put lemon juice on top.
No salt, no pepper, or anything other than fresh avocado and lemon juice.

LOL, I wish. $24,000 for the WRX and a little less than that for the Pathfinder. Currently trying to work some magic on a 2009 AMG that is $43,000.00 but I don't know if the devil will give me that much for my soul....

Yep, seems like those service members are getting paid a lot these days.

Lol ;)

No, I picked up long ago. IDC would be worthless for me as I am past zone C for bonuses and I have no need to make 1st again lol.

How you like the ride, my wife ways to get one of these with some black wheels.

I like it. Really.

With snow weather, it's a real pleasure to drive :D but gazole consumption is a bit high for my taste. And gazole price here in France is VERY high. For your information, one liter of gazole is about 1.24€ in Luxembourg (about 1.62$). Consumption is about 8-9liters for 100kms (about 62 miles)

GPS navigation system is top and the audi sound system is excellent
The camera back down is an option that I could not definitively do without today

I see you often have big typical american SUVs. I like it but we don't have these kind of cars here in France/Luxembourg

I was riding to work I was doing 145 ( it was 4am) no traffic.. I saw a State Police coming on the on ramp as i passed him he hit his lights I slow down and pull over --- This what he said to

Police you know how fast you was going

Police if you are going that fast why you stop I could not catch you -on your Hayabusa and nothing would catch you

I have to agree with her. I am a big fan of bikes, but I know personally two people who have died on their bikes, and about two months ago a friend went down and had to have his right leg reconstructed.

You don't think it will happen to you but it could. I always wanted a bike, but this recent accident convinced me otherwise.

I lost my brother to a motorcycle accident. My other brother and I both had bikes as well at the time. We both got rid of them and have never been on a bike since. I vowed that my parents would never have to lose another son in the same manner. No matter how skilled you are as a rider, there are unseen variables that can occur.
