Mine felt like it was going to stop after my 4th MJ PB cookie. Those fuckers mess with your mind and body.

I eat 3-4 pounds of meat a day plus maybe 1 pound of veggies. I will say I'm never starving during the day or left unsatisfied after a meal.
I was eating pretty big last year to but it was a low fat and low carb diet and I was always wanting to snack and was never full. I always wanted more. That's for sures not the case on CNS and I know I'll be loving CBL because I'll be backloading 3-4 times a week with 300-400g carbs post workout over a 3-4hr period.
I feel need to lean out a good bit more before I add in carbs mid week and more than 1-2 times a week.

Well, I'm starting later tomorrow. I usually start at 12 (noon), but I'll be starting at 3pm sharp, about 2 hours after my post workout shake (which will be 1 TBSP of CO and about 35 grams of protein (10 grams casein and 25 grams Hydrolyzed whey).

This is the layout:
3pm: 3 cups of Jasmine rice + 35 grams of Tilapia + 20 grams of mushroom/artichoke mix + Protein and carb rich homemade cookies by one of my training partners
5pm: 3 cups of Jasmine rice + 35 grams of Tilapia + 20 grams of mushroom/artichoke mix + 1/3 of the Marshmellow box with skim milk
6:45 pm: 3 cups of Jasmine rice + 35 grams of Tilapia + 20 grams of mushroom/artichoke mix + another one of those home made cookies
8pm: 2 pieces of those poptarts
9pm: the remaining 2/3 of the marshmellow box in almond milk with about a cup of oatmeal, cinnamon, nutmeg, and 1/2 cup of blueberries
11pm: 30 grams of casein protein in almond milk mixed with a banana and about 3 cups of CO (load up the fat!) then I crash yo!

Any pointers? corrections? lemme know, I'm always open to adjust things!

I'd cut the veggies out and have more room for carbs. Lol
Other than that and even with the veggies it looks solid.
Just make sure to get in plenty of HI GI carbs.

FBD, what Scope said! :p on CN it's a war. Don't get me wrong, I been cravin sugar for a week now... but When you're halfway through... you just have to OVERCOME and use your mind and keep telling yourself, I CAN EAT MOORREEEE :mad:

(it's easier for scope, he's 230 LOL!!!! I'm tiny :) )

And yeah I hear ya Scope! I might leave the veggies out... will think it through. The reason I'll be using oatmeal is because haven't had it in about 3 weeks.. and I miss my oats... But even so I'll mix it with the Blueberries and Almond milk which is High GL. (It's the almond milk which has 0 fat and LOADED with sugars).

Looking back why not have some cereal to start the night then have some protein later on.
My first 2 carb loads are carbs only. Then I add in some protein and fats later on in the night.

Dude! MY BAD!! it was Jasmine white rice!!! which has a GI of 89.

I think I'll start with the cereal then. The thing is, I only have one box left, and today's a holiday (sucks), I'll see if I can get some tomorrow morning! Thanks for the headup my man!

1 box is plenty.
I start my nights off with a box then some candies and after that is when I bring in some protein.
I will keep most if not all my fat in the last meal or meals.

Yes just 1 MR Food ! I'm bulking and not even trying with all this stuff I'm putting into my body right now. Can't imagine the weight I would be packing on if I was trying! I'd be back at 250 in no time!

8AM /6AH / Mecha@150/ Trenazone currently @ 3.25ml. Dropped Mecha today (in Wk 7) so I should start drying out a little. Very nice with Talos support. I didn't think I would be able to run those doses with my BP. Workouts are insane, joints feel great for running this much AH!



And a bulk without lots of food doesn't sound like much if a bulk. Lol

Its not suppose to be a bulk it was suppose to be a recomp cycle. It's lean growth because my diet has been good it just could have been a hell of a bulk if I would have turned on the food.

I just finished up 10 weeks of mass and recomped pretty good.
Now I'm on 5 pumps demecrine and 12.5mg Osta.
Kinda wish I would of stacked epi with it but I had a broken leg for the first 3-4 weeks so that idea was canned.
Epi and AM put 26 pounds on me last year.

Haven't really posted my lifting this week but all I've done is squats and light higher rep work is done with 225 and I've been working with 275 or 325. Legs are for sures feeling it today and this evening I did squats and deads back to back.

Did it with as little rest as possible and finished it in 25 minutes.
Pounded my shake and I'll chill out for a 1.5-2hrs then hit OHP and DB rows right before dinner.

Also this Saturday I was 219 before my refeed and I didn't weigh in on Sunday but did today and I was 233.3

All of my April refeeds will be kept very mild/tame compared to the past weeks have been, and that'll be done to lean out without dropping cals during the week.

I split the Osta up 12.5x2 am and then 8hrs later. Why?? Idk I just did it that way. Lol

I will say AndroMass was a great product and the 10 weeks I was on it I felt damn good and I put on 15 pounds and I'm leaner than I started out at so Ive put on even more than 15 pounds of mass. Have nothing but good things to say about it and it sucks its no longer available because it would be nice to run longer cycles that are side free and effective. I did eat my face off and averaged 3-3.5k cals a day and I'm still eating that amout and don't plan to lower it any.
What I've noticed in the 8-9 days I've been off AM is my recovery isn't near as quick and I get DOMS. Never felt sore while on so I know for sures the AM was the reason.
No point in writing to much about so it was good.

Fuck I must be getting a cold or something. Just woke up from a nap, and I never nap.
Felt like shit this morning and kinda threw up but more of a dry heave with lots and lots of spit, and I've just felt off. Was about to have an off day but for some reason I don't feel like eating so I'm going to do a whatever I want session in the gym and see if that'll get me back to normal.
You know it's not good when I don't even want my HERB. :cool:

Well I'm glad I decided to lift because I way feel better now. Popped a 4mg nicotine gum and did my 2 least favorite exercises Bench and DB Curls. Lol Not sure why I did those 2 but I'm glad I did... Got a sick ass pump and my arms and chest still fill full of blood and its almost like I can feel my chest pulling in nutrients to repair itself. Very nice feeling!!

My appetite is back too!!!!

If I thought it was serious I wouldn't of lifted. This morning was weird but this evening might of been my bodies weekly "Fuck You" when it's 3-5 days no carb, and that's why I decided it would be best to lift.

Plus I had to make myself work for this meal!!!

Thought I'd give a little update on my diet plans for this weekend...

The plan is to have carbs every night and get back on the ULC train Monday.
I'll be using this weekend as a reset/restart of CNS because everything about my diet will be changing for April.
3k cals a day and tamer/cleaner CarbNites then I'll be testing out a mid week backload. April should be a fun month.

I'm on CarbNite solution and it a no carb diet 6.5 days and then you refeed for 6-8hr a week with hi GI carbs.

I did CNS for 3 months successfully.

Carbnite is not the best time to eat whatever you want. It's just the time to eat High Gluc carbs.

After your weekly carb nite how long does it take you to return to ketosis? Any advice for a carb nite beginner? I'm almost three weeks in. Thanks.

Most days I just keep a rough count in my head and counting isn't really needed because I always eat the same sort of meals.

You might have touched on this earlier but what made you choose carb night over CBL?

The main and only reason was I had a fractured leg and a blow out ankle.
I hope to be CBLing in 4-6 weeks.

Return to ketosis depends on you. Time required to return to ketosis after carbnite is more and more short if you keep cns several months.

For me I needed 2 days (about 48h) to return to ketosis. About 5 days

Don't mean to step on your log Scope, but I think I can add something here. When I run CKD I have a "Carb-nite" on Suday and < 30gm carbs/day the rest of the week. For me I would start seeing the sticks get dark on Tuesday or Wednesday depending on the amount of activity I had early in the week. The sticks didn't seem to be affected by beer I drank during my carb-nite, it was always Tuesday or Wednesday regardless of the amount I consumed.

That's my experience.

I used to take ketosticks. This was a good indicator for me. Colour and smell of urine is also another good indicator

Well the time has come and I'm modding CNS for the month of April and will start CBLing on 5/1/13..
The new plan is to have refeeds every 3-5 days. When I say refeeds I mean a post workout bowl of cereal or 2, a nice meal lean meat and HIGH GI carbs, and then right before bed I'll have some more carbs that may or may not be dirty. Not going to go crazy because I need to learn to control myself before I start CBLing.

Any thoughts, or ideas on my new plan??

I won't be eating much junk at all and if I eat a dirtier it'll be right before bed and homemade and Gluten Free.
Fuck doughnuts and I'll eat pizza but it'll be made at home and clean.

I use CBL since 3 months very successfully. Good recomp effect. Gone from 16% to 14% BF and lost few lbs.

I eat chocolate doonuts only after back and legs workout. Carbs are generally white rice and bread. Pasta bloat me.

Matt told me that the effect of the diet would be the same if I eat carbs on breakfast and lunch. BUT if I eat as much carbs as now on breakfast and lunch I will gain fat. I know 'cause I already did it (with less carbs as now and with very clean carbs)

Since one year I fast from 9PM until 12AM-3PM

This is the lowest weight I've started a week off in over a month, and I'll be lowering my cals all week. 2500 cals is what I'd like my max to be this week but I'm not going to stress it if I eat more and ill be eating .85:1 ratio.
I'll be sure to hit 200+ grams of protein no matter what, and the only other adjustment I need to make it no CO. By eating CO I usually end up eating more fat than protein, so CO is pretty much cut out unless I'm eating chicken/turkey or something.

This weeks workouts will be cut back, but I'll still be busting ass. The plan is to do 100 tire flips a day then just go light with the iron for 1hr, and get my big lifts in onnthe weekends when I'm carbed up. Depending on the weather I also want and will start doing 60-100 tire flips in the AM too.

I'll be ULC all week then I'll do a smaller BL/CN on Friday to fuel a deads/squat session at the gym on Saturday morning. Saturday night I'll also do a smaller BL/CN to fuel Sunday mornings workout.
B2B carbs is just working well for my plans this month and it'll be done all month, because next week I plan to do the same setup.

I still have 10-14g co right when I get up and then 10-14g post workout in the evening.
I just cut out all the eating of it threw out the day. 40g co before 8:30am is no way to cut. Lol
This setup feels like its working really well and I'll weigh in on Friday morning and then plan my CARB attack!!! I'm guessing I'll be 212..
Fats are all coming from the meat I'm eating. Whole foods FTW...
I'm also cutting out all protein powder tomorrow-Friday.

Diet truely is 85-90% of the game...
Full fat wild planet tuna, and 85/15 beef is all I'm eating right now, and keeping it simple like that allows me to adjust things very easily.
The lower cal/fat diet this week coupled with 2 tame refeeds, should have me a little leaner and ready to start backloading 3-4 times a week.
A well tuned CBL plan should have me dropping fat and adding mass all while eating steak and cake.

Pump and endurance are fine but not much energy/drive until you get going then something kicks in and takes over. Around 5-10 minutes in the switch gets flipped and its game time.

Performance has slowly been getting worse so that's why I'm moving away from CNS and going to start CBL in 1-2 weeks.

I know I've been kinda gone for a few days, just been really busy getting everything ready for the vacation. But still on CN's.

I admit that I have determination, but you are one of the people here that has inspired me beyond words, by means of your practical knowledge my friend. I'll stick to CN's for these 2 more weeks... on my vacation will ease up a bit, and then come back for a more stricter CN, aimed toward losing fat.

Thanks to you, I've also dropped CO to about 5 TBSP's a day (75 grams). It was around 150 grams a day. So I'll see how that treats me. 2 More refeeds for me, and then I'll be on vacation. Probably eat carbs lightly, only in the PM's for the 16 days I'll be gone.

I'll try and update my log next week for sure. Been following yours daily! And thanks for the inspiration bro! I learn a lot of things that WORKED! ;)

Should be fun and carbs more often should really get things rolling.
Before I even read about CNS and CBL anytime I'd vacation I always Backload my carbs and it works great.
The leanest I've ever been was after 4 days in LV and all I did was BW workouts stayed ULC all day and ate my face of at night. Came home to a new me and held it until I busted my leg so your trip might lean you out.

Also while on CNS if you start to feel down after 2-3 days add a second CN and it'll speed your fatloss up and I'd almost say do it now because your plenty lean and I bet it would zapp the fat quicker.

Jumped on the scale this morning and I'm 213 so that's a loss of 3-5 pounds this week. I was stuck at 216-218 for 4 weeks so its nice to see something changing. I also feel great and my workouts are just on another level and the pumps are SICK.
Goal is to be 225-230@10% but I'd like to sit at 210-215 while I lean out and then ramp up the cals and carbs to lean bulk to 225-230 and then just work on maintaining that all year.

Kiefer recommands a ratio 50/50 in quantity for prot and fat but when you're on cycle it seems obvious that prots amount must be highly increased.
In that case do you think fat amount must be increased in the same rate too?

And how do you do when you are not training. Just an ULC day 50/50 prot fat?

I hesitate to eat 1/.5 prot/fat considering the hormonal situation of the protocol. Fat is avoiding insulin spike and without spike fat is used as fuel for the body. And if you eat too much prot without enough fat there's an insulin spike accordibg to Kiefer. Less than with carbs but spike enough to stop the process.

If I eat prot x2 'cause I'm on cycle I should eat fat x2 but to my mind it's really too high in cal/fat...

For my next cycle with CBL I will eat 1/.5 prot/fat and hoping that steroids will allow the body to use at best all prots. Will see

When I'm ULC I just eat and that usually gets me 22-2800 cals. I also backload my ULC cals and eat most post workout or around 7-8pm.

You don't need to be 1:1 to blunt the spike but I'd do 10-14g of CO or Butter with all meals.
Use butter to blunt a spike from a shake if its not post workout or containing carbs.
CO or MCT oil is good in your post workout shake as long as it doesn't have any carbs added.

It is said everywhere that you must highly increase your amount of protein when you are in cycle.

Not enough prots = bad cycle. Here is what I often read

I will do like you say and just add a bit of butter, coconut oil or bacon each time I eat prots and don't worry about amount required

Up to 224 but holding onto a bit more fat than I'd like but performance in and out of the gym is fucking great so I'm eating at least potatoes and cereal every night that I lift.

I just follow or mod the recipe onnthe box of mix.
Maple syrup or fake sugar free syrup when I'm watching the carbs.

As for me, I decided to stop doonuts and other food like this. Just keep clean carbs such as white rice, bread, potatoes. I want to see if there's a difference with diet+doonuts food

For the moment, my weight is increasing but I keep the same BF. I'd like to know if I can be leaner in removing dirty carbs in the evening.

Kiefer says that dirty food is required 2h before bed to increase insulin spike. ...

Wieght is up and fat may be down or just the same but with more mass. With that said Ive had carbs every night this month but 2 days and those days I ate a fuckton of ULC food lots of protein and FAT!!!
Strength and endurance is up big time, and I'm able to just lift and lift and keep on lifting. I'm now limiting my workouts to 1-1.5hrs and so far it has me feeling great and makeing gains.

CNS is a great diet but when my lifting sessions started to suck and I was just stuck at 216 for 4-6 weeks so it was time for a change and I'm very happy with the change.

Doughnuts fuck me over hard and the only ones Ive found to be ok are a 2hr trip to get so I haven't had any doughnuts but I've been eating pancakes, potatoes, and cereal. I've been getting in 350g or more carbs every night, so I'm eating a pretty good amount of food and not putting any fat.

I'm Carb Backloading but I'm not following any of Kiefers protocols. I'm just staying ULC all day then smashing carbs post workout and I'm done eating around 8 and get to bed around 9-10. I'm pretty much Paleo 21-22hrs a day and the 2-3hrs I'm not its after my workout and its all gluten free and baked or made at home. All fat and protein are coming from good sources and I've also cut my protein powder use down to just in that 2-3hr post workout window and I kinda want to just cut it out all together or just buy some pepto pro and use just enough to get the job done post workout.

One thing I've found while eating carbs nightly is I have to drink more water than normal and I'm drinking 3+ gallons a day because if I don't I bloat up and look like the Michelin Man. I've also been eating 2lbs of asparagus daily and that helps out big time.

I am a mechanic so I'm no just sitting on my ass all day either.
Hit a 30-45 minute am bro session or light lifting session during the week plus my nightly heavier or intense workout and then lift in the am sat/sun.
350 is probably a low side guess because I'm always eating handfuls of cereal threw out the backload, and I don't even count the bananas and apple sauce I eat.

I haven't ate like this in years and its the biggest change I've made.

When I was 330+ I ate shitty, at the wrong times, and felt like crap but now I'm eating pancakes and potatoes nightly, feeling like a million bucks, and I'm NEVER hungry or have cravings. Well unless I'm high as fuck then I get cravings and uncontrollable hunger.

For CBL, workout must be about 6PM ... or later
According to the book, if you train in the morning, backload must be done the day evening before the workout

When I lift in the am or afternoon Sat I just stay ULC the whole day then at 7pm/dinner time I drink a shake with 6g leucine and then backload my carbs or say you don't lift on Sunday I'd just stay ULC until Sunday night and then BL Sunday for Mondays session.
Would be the same during the week, BL at night lift in the am or afternoon.

Not much has changed but I'm gaining mass and dropping the fat slowly and that's with eating carbs damn near every day and in the 300-500 gram range too.
So pretty much I've been eating big, and lifting often.
Strength and endurance is up big time and I have no problem hitting 2 main lifts in 1 day or even 1 session.
Last night I hit bench SS with DB rows then hit squats until the gym closed. After that I ate a bunch of chicken, 1cup rice, and 12 chocolate chip GF cookies.

I've been eating at 8-9am this week because Ive been finishing my last meal before 8-9pm.
I'll continue to cut my eating off at 8-9pm next week but I won't eat until 10-11 because early morning food makes and keeps me hungry all day.

Since that meal was so damn fatty and large I'll only eat lean meat and low fat carbs tonight.
Thinking about chicken and potatoes for my main meal then a box of cereal to get the carbs in.

I do need to mention that I'll be going Paleo after I fininsh all the cereal and shit I have at home. I'll still be CBLing but all my carbs will come from starchy veggies and an occasional cheat meal/evening that will be kept Guten Free.
Main reason for switching things up is Ive finally talked my parents into eating healthier and Paleo eating is what it took so I'm going join them and see what happens.

Did a little circuit of pull-ups, push-ups, seated BB presses, curls, and then after 5 rounds I added in deads (I was picking it up by the plates not the bar 135x10), and did another 5 rounds.
After that I started to do squats and those same deads.

I'll be doing a 30 day Paleo challenge that will be grain, legume, and dairy free. I'll probably stay ULC most of the time and when I'm not I'll still be around 75-100g carbs post workout only. Reason behind this is I'll be away from the weights some of this month and won't be able to really CBL like I'd like to and CNS won't be used because it just teaches bad eating habbits. Plus June is 30 days long so it works out perfect. Lol

Had a solid back workout on Saturday morning with another killer squat and bench session Sunday morning.

I've been eating massive amounts of food and while strength hasn't dropped any but I've lowered the over all volume of my workouts and the number of days I'm lifting.

I do have to say it's nice having a little mental break from timing of meal or this and that and just eating whenever I want and I'm eating so much good food I don't have a single craving for anything that I'm not wanting to

Hit bench SS with db rows yesterday evening then had 300-400g carbs from white rice, bananas, and a little ice cream.

Woke up this morning and had a killer squat session and I'm full of energy and drive today.
I'll probably be back in the gym the is evening and then again Saturday and Sunday morning.
Back to being ULC an won't have any carbs until sometime next weekend or longer as it all depends on how my workouts play out.

I'm for sures leaning out, holding onto more wieght than I thought I would and that's good because I was worried I'd drop a bunch real quick and that's not the goal.
Looking less insulin resistant meaning my stomach and tits are looking smaller/less fat compared to the rest of my body.

Really liking this Paleo gig because its getting my relationship with food back to the way it was and I feel better/healthier cutting out all the junk.
I have lots of cereal, and gluten free baking mixes that I will end up eating but I never plan to smash 2 boxes of cereal, 12 cookies, a cake, and whatever else I can find to eat like I was before. Yeah it was fun but its not me or what I see myself eating years down the road.
Main reason I lost all the wieght (330 to 210) I have is so I can live a better and longer life than the one I was going to live, and I feel like I'm bettering myself for again by switching up my diet and eating Paleo/Primal and most of all GLUTEN FREE. Gluten is the devils work and will never knowingly consume gluten ever again.

Nothing much to report but I've been having some killer am sessions this weekend and I'll be headed to the gym this evening after dinner with my DAD.

Hit bench and back on Saturday morning then went to Big Sur to do a little hiking and lots of eating. Lol

Woke up this morning and did SQUATS!!!
Massive amounts of volume...
135 3x10
185 2x10
225 10x10
135 2x10

6 rounds of HIIT is how I start all my workouts too.

This evening I'll be doing more SQUATS, but it'll be heavier with less reps.

I'll keep it Paleo plus carbs more often or as needed. One thing I know for sures is all my carbs will be controlled and kept clean and unprocessed.

Right now I need to lean out Natty before I start my cycle so I can focus on mass and not cutting. My training and diet are very consistant but I'm having a hard time getting lean enough to where I feel good about starting a cycle up.

I hear what you're saying. Since I've been doing Carbnite's twice a week, I feel and see I've gained quite some more mass than expected, but bodyfat seems to remain the same imo.

Thinking about lowering the refeeds to around 6 hours instead of 8, and also go more unprocessed carbs like you. Slowly kicking out the cereals completely. Had some Jelly Beans after my Delt/Back workout today though... I just had to, after that amazing intense contraction workout.

And also thinking of stopping the carb intake 1.5 - 2 hours before I crash, and have a a bit of tuna before I crash.

Will do that for the next 4 weeks... Also lowering my Coconut Oil intake a bit more, and then I start the Bulk/Hard/mecha cycle

Had a off day backload last night and hit SQUATS this morning.
My workout and rest of the day felt great and its still feeling good. Not sure if its the carbs or the HIIT first thing in the AM. I'm thinking its the HIIT making me feel so good because when I'm unable to do HIIT I feel like SHIT!!

Long rope is 40 feet and 30-40lbs and the jump rope is 10-12 feet and 10lbs.

Yesterday I added in Wesley's trap exercise, and I'm feeling that shit today.

All week will be bulletproof coffee to start the day off, and what's pictured above for dinner. I'll also have some quest bars and a bit of 90% cocoa bar for a after dinner snack.

That coffee gets me going in the AM like no other and I just feel more alert. It doesn't bother my stomach any but some get liquid shits so if you try it you might want to start out with 14-28g of each.

This kind of eating allows me to eat a ton of food while dropping fat but my performance in the gym drops off. CBL is great but I'm just so damn insulin resistant from being so fat for so long carbs just get shuttled to my stomach and chest.

The Fat Puck was made because I didn't have a way to make coffee last week so I'd just premade some fat pucks to eat in the AM.
