I am considering switching from milk to soy milk. I know soy is supposed to actually reduce estrogen through phytoestrogens and milk has ACTUAL estrogen in it. Is there anything I am missing here? I'm not overly paranoid about GMOs. Maybe almond milk would be a better choice?

I’ve always avoided milk in general because I’m not a fan of the stuff either. I would generally recommend almond milk vs soy but only for the reason I tend to veer clear of any soy products that I can.

This would be the way to go. Almond milk has no estrogen OR phytoestrogens. You could also pick cashew or rice milk, but they don’t taste very good.

Oatmilk tastes the most like soy milk, but many brands are contaminated with wheat. Probably better to use almond milk instead of oat milk for that reason.

Seems that proteins in soy definitely are anti-androgenic, estrogen isn't even the problem. No soy for me

I steer clear of all soy as well. You can find decent alternatives to soy these days, too. I love sushi/sashimi, and I recently found a pretty decent alternative called "No Soy" by Oceans Halo - if anyone's interested.
