Acid reflux?

Been experiencing some throat tightness, and a sour taste in my mouth recently and was wondering whether anyone knew what it could be. I'm pretty sure it's acid reflux and was wondering what people would recommend to treat it.

I do drink a fair bit of coffee, but my highly demanding priorities prevent me from cutting down.

Hi Mung, actually experienced a really bad bout of GERD in mid-late September. My right side of throat was tight felt really weird and chest had intermittent bouts of discomfort while spitting out what I thought was this grapefruit colored mucus . It somehow went away after a month , have no idea why.

A couple things though that helped. 1) I drunk lemonsqueezed water ( was googling natural remedies and gave it a shot ) and for a week straight I ate clean as possible, only drinking water. It ducked because I’m a coffee and spicy food addict addict but after that week I found esophagus to be less irritated, which I think is leading to throat discomfort
