-and lastly man I just believed that this was going to get better and be a thing of the past (which it is) just stick to the protocol, remain positive, train lots, sleep lots, see lots of sunlight and this will all be behind you lad. Trust me. Out of curiosity what seems to be your problem? Is it DPDR? Or why do you think you have a folate problem?
-I think I just stuck to routine. Regularly training, eating at the same time every day, sleeping and waking up at the same time seems to really positively affect the body (Andrew Huberman on YouTube has a lot of videos about the importance of sleep and nutrition, you should check him out) -breathing protocols to help reduce anxiety. DPDR is like an extreme form of anxiety so I used some breathing protocols to reduce the anxiety and therefore reduce the DPDR. They are nasal breathing all the time (as recommended by James Nestor, should check him out on the JRE), breathing slower and less often (also recommended by James Nestor) and the most important breathing technique I used was the Physiological Sigh (as recommended by Andrew Huberman on YouTube) the Physiological Sigh was hands down the most important one and most impactful.
Jesus pal I'm only seeing this now, I'm so sorry for the late reply. I managed to put most of this in my rear view mirror and tbh I never darkened the doorstep of this website again until I had a minor crash from something stupid a couple of weeks ago. BUT To answer your question, I fixed my DPDR issue I'm not sure about the folate issue, or indeed if I ever had one to begin with. Turnover seems to think that his DPDR issues were folate related and I tried his recommedation fkr treating the problem (I assume you read about that on that thread) but tbh I don't think it really done anything for me. On the brightside: -it didn't do any harm to try -the DPDR seemed to almost resolve itself If I had to guess as to how the DPDR was fixed I would say it was due to a couple of factors. -the weather just improved massively here in Ireland and direct sunlight and warm weather seem to have a VERY positive effect on diminishing DPDR (Cloudy days or rainy days seem to exasperate it)
What's up man, did you ever end up fixing your folate issue?
