I'd like to see another competition

Is anyone else interested in another competition? I'd like to stay focused this winter and a little friendly wager might help me keep my eyes on the prize. Nothing big, not a cash wager, just friendly like.

I actually got thinking about this today while at work, I was playing with the notion of "The battle of Flexington" and the test shot heard round the world. I had a few laughs with it, no one else found it funny.

my thoughts, contest starts oct 19th and runs till april 19th, and thats pretty much it.

Personal progress would be nice or even a 1 on 1 challenge, ooohhhh.

Anyone else care to join in or am I alone with this one?

Love the idea, and I appreciate the idea of competition to keep people driven.

if people are game, I will also throw in a prize package or gift card.

Like it. There could be divisions for different goals, i.e. bulking, cutting, strength, etc.

Thats very generous, thanks for the support.

I was pulled out of the woodwork by a contest djm threw at PP and it was what got me serious. It got me from being a lurker to an active member and got me serious about my gains. I'd love to return the favor.

so I guess a strength with the big lifts broken down into 2 weight classes sub 200lbs and 200 +? and an aesthetics comp? mass too?

who wants to judge?

I'll be happy to judge. However, the size gain and aesthetics competition could easily be done by a vote of the members, which I would suggest. It will require before and after photos.

On the big 3 lifts, we will need a video submitted of 1RM at the beginning and end of contest. You may submit additional videos during the timeframe of the contest.

I have a question as to how you would prefer the strength contest to go: do you want to make it just like a PL contest and top number wins? Or would you like to base it on % of increase? Or both?

Judging the strength vids, I'd like someone to assist me in case a ruling needs to be made. Sorrow? Ryan? Rodja?

You might have grapes since your ending a cycle mine are still nice and plump....
If I have size on you your gonna be in trouble because I've been off lifting for 8 or so weeks.
