R-Andro Cycle #1 - PCT?

Hi all - I'd like to say I'm happy to be among the community and finally posting, but truth is, I'm sad any of us are here. I hope you all know what I mean by that. I also hope each and every one of you has a swift and permanent recovery. I'm glad through reading these fora that I'm not alone at least, and want to be counted among the motivated individuals here who fight themselves out of this terrible situation.

I'm a veteran of other prohormone cycles, few years back now. Namely 2x M1T cycles and a SuperDMZ cycle. Recovered fine with nolvadex, almost ancient history now.

My question is (and huge apologies is this has been done to death) is, do we run a PCT after an R-Andro cycle? I'm not seeing PCT referred to in the protocol. I'm also tempted to run NAC and Taurine alongside. Is this sensible? I'm proposing week 1 @ 100mg, week 2 @ 200mg, week 3 @ 300mg, weeks 4,5 and 6 @ 400mg. After that, do I stop dead? Take 'vanilla' nolvadex PCT at 20/20/10/10?

Hopefully someone passing can steer me right! Thanks for reading. Grateful for any pointers, best wishes to you all.

the totalmaleoptimization recommended herbs are good for pct on r-andro cycles

bounced back just fine on 4 cycles so far. read that website front to back and also on here the users cdnuts, maxout, english, and entropy who fully recovered for more specific questions as most questions have already been answered and you'll see what I mean when you're closer to recovery that a lot of dudes want to be spoon fed lol.

Thanks for that fella - yes still feeling my way through it here, but thought nolva would just be such an obvious PCT (I mean, it's the "go to" ofc.)

Have trib, ashwa, tongkat, pine pollen arrived so far - been cycling those since the water fast. Got a few more coming. Also shedloads of nolva anyway from a while back, might try and manage gyno with aspirin even (should it manifest)

Thanks again, not entirely sure I'll be ready for the cycle this side of February but working up to it.

yeah you dont need those for these DHT prohormones.

run the herbs first, as recommended, it will make you respond better

Just reviving this. R-Andro cycle over, definitely 'feel' shut down. Balls small, back acne gone a few weeks. No bloods yet but I do feel it.

Will trust to the herb cycle getting me going again. Any further recommendations let me know! Feeling a little edgy about it.

Also no touching nolvadex with PFS, future readers. Allegedly interferes with Estrogen and Progesterone in unpleasant ways for us.

just from straight r-andro? this is my 5th cycle never get suppressed from it but 4 andro I do how much were u taking?

Yep, just straight R-Andro. 600mg for the last 4 weeks.

It seems you began R Andro too soon and that dose of 600 mg is way too strong. Cycle herbs for another 2 months before doing a 400 mg R Andro run.

Yes I waited the BARE minimum before starting. Figured on, as you say, waiting two months of cycling the herbs. And definitely 8 weeks on 400 next time.

Is there any merit on running as high as you can? I have heard legends I think of Tubzy running 1g! That right?

You need to wait longer before running the prohormone. Every person is unique and at a different place in recovery. I would be patient and not try to run to the finish line.

Pace yourself and do the Wim Hof breathing, cold showers, paleo diet, holosync, herbs, and the entire protocol strictly for several months before running the R Andro at 400 mg per day. I would also do it for 4 weeks before doing 2 months.

I wouldn’t worry about merits dude. Slow and steady wins the race every time. Perseverance and diligence will yield victory.

More is not always better; I would have recommended starting with the lowest effective dose and working up from there in subsequent cycles. If you start at a very high dose, where do you have to move up to?

Argh. Well let's hope I've not gone and made anything worse. Feel terrible right now, hopefully a couple of months back on the herbs and I'll be somewhere along.

600mg crushed maxouts estrogen and he's like 6'6 or something crazy like that.

but ya I think tubzy said he did 900mg with no problems.

I've been tempted to do 600 and I've done it for like a week or two before maxout/cd warn me and I dial down to 400

my right joint behind the knee is a bit tight, could this be crushing estrogen or muscle strain? hamstring? I do yoga etc. I can still run, squat, dead with it but it's just stiff as hell lol.

I always feel low estro in my joints first and foremost......

Had a blood test, testosterone is normal, panic over. Estradiol/free test is very low and SHBG is hugely high, which would account for it all. Joints defo feeling it too.

Free test has always been low for me too since the whole PFS thing started up. I don’t have earlier blood tests to compare, but even with test at 1100 my free test was like half the low end of normal range.. seems pretty common with us.

yeah what's up with that? I had same thing my total test was high as fuck but SHBG and low free test. one guy was saying cuz of excessive cortisol/stress it binds up your free TEST. so basically we gotta relax more. lol

lol I think it’s more than that, though that probably wouldn’t hurt. It’s weird how common it is though. There’s a thread on another forum where people are sharing blood tests and like almost everyone’s is like that w PFS

Would be interesting to see before and after cdnuts protocol for 6 months or whatever to see how much it changes

I never did bloods for the most part, but I wonder what the actual changes are for guys from when they're in the shit to when they recover. On paper aside from the major sex hormones I don't really think much changes. There are guys who have pretty normal hormone profiles and still suffer with PFS. I believe the mechanisms are deeper then that and it has to do more with specific body and brain functions then simply hormone levels.

Yeah, I've wondered that a lot too, we know getting those to look good on a test really doesn't help most people with PFS so I wonder what the real differences are. Maybe some of the mineral stuff that's common on hackstatis would shed some light on it? I'm not sure. I've also seen some tests that tell how well 5ar and 5br, etc. are actually working (along with a lot of others) so that would be interesting to see on a before/after basis, but that's easier said than done for the "before" part of the testing

For me it would simply be for curiosities sake. We know the answer is the same regardless of symptoms and what the labs say. By bringing everything into balance, things simply go back to the way they should be.
