Wanting to get into prohormones but have a few questions

I'm a unique PFS sufferer who never took Fin, but instead seem to have gotten it from excessive weed smoking and other behaviors as a teenager. As such I don't have the severity of effects that many sufferers do, and I react quite well to most herb cycling though I do build up resistance quite quick.

I'm 26 at the moment, and I'm not somewhat recovered as long as I'm boosted with herbs and supplements. I've been cycling herbs and supplements intuitively for the past 3-4 years, I didn't realize there was supposed to be a science behind it like there is on this forum. I also incidentally ran across Wim Hof method like this forum recommends too.

I want to get into pro-hormones to really boost my recovery and help me feel better, even if it's just for 8 weeks. However, I have a few pressing questions:

1. Are prohormones suppressive? Is any sort of PCT needed?

2. I'm prone to hairloss when I take very androgenic herbs and supplements, will prohormones have the same effect? Are there some that make you lose more hair than others?

3. My most pressing symptom is bad insomnia. Is there a certain pro-hormone that worse/better for that than the others.

4. What are the potential risks of prohormones that I should watch out for?

5. How are you supposed to rub the cream onto your chest/shoulders/stomach area if those areas are covered in hair? Should you just rub in areas where there isn't hair, like the sides of the torso?

Edit, here are my blood test results if this helps come up with any specific advice or recommendations. SHBG, prolactin, estrogen and cortisol are a touch high.

Total testosterone - 17.8 nmol/L - (6 - 28)

SHBG - 45 nmol/L - (15 - 50)

Free testosterone - 308 pmol/L - (200 - 600)

FSH - 4 IU/L - (1 - 8)

LH - 2 IU/L - (2 - 8)

Oestradiol - 115 pmol/L - (< 150)

Progesterone - 2.8 nmol/L - (< 4.1)

Prolactin - 292 mIU/L - (45 - 375)

Cortisol - 427 nmol/L - (110 - 550)

FT4 - 13.0 pmol/L - (9.0 - 25.0)

TSH - 1.68 mIU/L - (0.40 - 4.00)

FT3 - 5.8 pmol/L - (3.5 - 6.5)

Vitamin D - 88 nmol/L - (deficiency <50 nmol/L)

Insulin - 5 mIU/L - (2 - 12 mU/L)

DHEA-sulphate - 8.1 μmol/L - (4.8 - 13.9)

I’m not gonna pretend I understand even a modicum of PFS… but your bloods look fine and in normal ranges. Have you stopped smoking weed? Is your diet good, are you sleeping well, are you working out?

This sounds more psychosomatic than anything else. Or, you’re starting to face the unfortunate reality of getting older and your sex drive start tapering off.

Otherwise idk why you think you have it. What makes you believe you have PFS?

To answer your questions quickly and tell you that you need to read more as well.

1-Yes, prohormones are suppressive to varying degrees. You’ll need a PCT no matter what, to what degree, that’s what you need to learn first.

2-if you’re prone to hair loss on herbs, you will certainly feel it on steroids, much more so. Why is this? You need to do research to find out why.

3-steroids generally can cause snoring ime and others. They notice snoring more on cycle. If that causes you to wake up you may need to not do it. Haven’t really heard of insomnia from most steroids, but there are a few that can really wreck it. You need to do research to find out which ones.

4-plenty, do research.

5- is this a serious question? Do you not put lotion on your arms cuz of hair? Same concept mate, just rub it in dude.

You need to do real research before you fuck yourself up. A good portion of these questions could be answered in literally 2 seconds of google. The old days you would be told to fuck off and do some research because it’s not our job to hold your hand through a simple Google search. Forums were for actual discussions.

Pretty good, just got to Iraq for another deployment. This stuff is pretty sweet this time around. Finally COVID isn’t quite as gay and making everything so annoying. Like it did my last deployment. So honestly really great. First time in a long time I’ve been doing phenomenally rather than just getting by or good. For shits and gig I’m doing a Halo/MENT cycle. Like 75mg halo and 30mg ment ed. Probably the weakest cycle I have done in years but god damn do I feel good and the gains are great lol. I now know what people talk about with the trest making people feel great. I know the conversion is minimal but gosh darn this has been the first cycle in a long time I don’t feel like shit lol. I THINK I’m done with Tren and all that other shit lol. It’s test, when I’m able and nothing else.

I check in every month or so. But don’t post, not a lot for me here these days. But I always say Ill try, and I will continue to lol.

Yeah, that's what the old heads say.....Test or nothing.....I've heard good things about Trest though too. Never ran gear......yet.....lol. I don't think I want to open that can. I know I'd want to be on it forever. Thankfully I feel best on just some herbs and creatine mostly. I'll cycle in the summer....something light, like UH or 4. Good shit for PH's. I have always wanted to try Test. I know how I feel naturally when I'm firing on all cylinders.....I don't think I'd want to see what that feels like...lol

I think I’m starting to put stock in what I used to hear. Actually to b frank, between here is PP mostly just about everything that was said was more than often true and most has come to fruition. Test and primo maybe low trest are all you could need. I think trest on a low dose really will be like Tren like they say with all the wellbeing, non of the insomnia or aggression and lots of size gains and leaning out effect. I think the high doses are where it runs into real issues with the methyl estrogen. Wouldn’t know though. I just ordered a bunch of trestace tabs form a sarm source no idea if its legit or not. Don’t know any labs you can even send off to be tested now. But if its legit, should be a great oral for well being and making the baby batter sterilized while I travel and fuck off between deployments lol. No babies for me. Since that was the original point of it anyways, and frankly I see why now. I think it can replace test in a lot fo ways if this is anything to go off. Ill see once I try the tabs and am using the active rather than the pH.

I think that was my problem. I was so used to gear all the time, I just ran it to be on it. I wasn’t utilizing it how it should have been. But I think I finally have a lid on it and my 30’s has been some wake up calls in very good ways. Which is another reason why I think this cycle has been going so well. Big doses isn’t a crutch, my habits and all are paying off now since this is my first cycle in a while and its just very moderate at best.

It’s weird how recreationally beneficial steroids can be, as well as abused simply for the personality effects. And would agree best not to open that can if you be gotten along well so far without. Once I hit where I want to be. Ill be done with cycles for a while. Try the AH route and stuff like that where I can get by without much suppression and just piggy back the work I put in. But for now I’ve still got some filling out on my frame to do in a short period of time. So ill keep the halo and trest but I think within a year or two I’m done with all of them for the most part and will start working on optimizing my hormones and stuff and just the PH like you listed instead.

In Afghanistan, you don’t. Unless you’re fucking a military chick. But its a damn meat market out here for the them and desert 10’s can pick guys that wouldn’t even let them hold their socks back stateside.. so I don’t even try. But Here in Iraq, before COVID we could leave if we didn’t get in trouble and go into town here in Kurdistan. So go stay in a hotel room and pick up some escorts. Haha

Yeah i wish i could have told younger me to listen, because these WERE the guys who knew what they were talking about lol. Unlike PHF pushing the bounds where a guy ran SD at like 80mg or some shit for 8 weeks lmfao

My work isn’t affected so much, but the guys i work with will be lol. Ill snap someone up real quick if its one of those days, and vice versa, personality mitigation is probably your biggest concern. Trying not to take it personally when you’re the target of the aggression of all the bottled up thing in their life pouring over finally. That happens a lot when you’re out here. Marriages failing, bills, kids with no real outlets except the gym lol. But the tempo already seems different here in Iraq and its my firs time. Not shit is happening so far out here lol.
