Yeah I dunno I watched that again and for a max I think that my form was good enough... I would have expected it to round more and am happy with how it looks. I have certainly performed reps with probably double the rounding with no issue...

I want to be able to deadlift, squat, and bench when I'm older... If I want that to happen my form needs to be on point from this point forward. That's the way I look at it.
POWERLIFTERS PUT IT DEEPER IN THE WHOLE!!! WHAT???!!!
I guess that's a good idea but I don't think I would make any gains if I didn't push the limit, which means a rounded thoracic...
I blame this form for my level of leanness.
Just because you don't feel it now doesn't mean it won't catch up with you.
You've hit a nice PR, I'd suggest calming down on the weight and focus on form. It'll make a huge difference.
If you can bench more than you can squat, you're doing it wrong!
yeah well i don't max like this more than once every 2 months... my back is flat with 405. i know 100% for sure that no damage was done to my back from this. everything was aligned.
and i don't even plan on doing deads for a while, doing deficit only and 325 was hard so i wanna get up to 405 on that.
feel it way more than a regular dead.
As long as you play it safe, don't want to hear about you breaking something

You could correct your form within a couple months if you really wanted to. I did this for the most part when I first started training for my first meet. I had to change A LOT of things, and it took a while... But things are finally getting really good, I'm just glad form is solid in every lift.

yeah.... snap city ain't where i wanna be.
but i really don't think that bend is a big deal.
squatting 315 is about infinity times more irritating to my back, and you guys would probably say my form looks great there.

but i always have good form except when i'm maxing, maybe you guys are thinking this is what i do every week? lol
Good warnings.... I didnt and Im having neck surgery on Monday. After I injured myself I realised that I wasnt going to amke any gains at all for 6 months or better. I would have been better off making sure my form was rally good than pushing huge weight. Just my experience tho.
