Sometimes you need those days off, man. If you're hitting it and hitting it and hitting it, your CNS will take a damn beating and it's not kind in return. Your CNS is responsible for contraction of the muscle. If it doesn't get a break at times, it'll rear it's head in the forms of general fatigue, not being as motivated, and ironically, weaker lifts. Fish oils and glutamine will help, but not like rest and sleep will. I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir, but wanted to throw it out there.
