Ever since I started working out with 2 crazy cubans in Little Havana, Central Miami, they got me in that game! I was a pothead for a few years already before that. Dedicated bodybuilder, competed twice in Aruba, but I would NEVER workout high!
These 2 cubans (one was a model, the other was a Central Florida Powerlifting champion), they were THE most hardcore brothers I ever trained with, and they took me under their wings so to speak.
They used to pick me up, and have a superpump shake ready for me, and a big ass spliff to smoke. They would say: ''this is your pre-workout soldier''. And as we drove to the gym we would get mad high and adrenaline would be off the roof.
I remember the first time I worked out stoned! Could not believe I only had two sets done, and that I was still at my first exercise LOL!!!!! And THE SORENESS OMG!!!!!!
But that was just the first time.... after that I got hooked.... could NOT workout, could NOT cardio even, if I was not mad stoned! I had to sell drugs to even some of my college professors, every kind of drug, you name it! To be able to afford all the weed I was smoking for those 3 years! Not to mention the mushrooms, LSD and Mescaline trips I would often do on weekends with crazy girls
But yeah then circumstances changed drastically when I came back to the Island. Sometimes I really miss it though! But with my lifestyle now, it would be impossible. You have to really have ''the lifestyle'' to be able to live like you do (or that I used to do). Living on the beach, my own apartment, my own rules... man... awesome experience!!!

I've never been able to train with some bad mofos but I can imagine how good it must be.
Yeah I'm just like you use to be. Can't lift or do cardio without the herb and any other time of the day I could care less if I'm high or not. Herb and coffee is my pre workout now and its carb free to boot. Lol
Don't live on the beach but its close by, but I do have a house with NO TV, Internet, and a lot of other comfort items.
What it does have is a fridge stocked with food, a bed, and my IRON.
All I do at home is EAT, SLEEP, LIFT, and repeat!!

Well today I'm going to keep the fats to the bare minimum and let my body fat be its sole source of fuel...
Hope it works like I think it should.
Oh and my parents and local family think I'm nuts for living the way I am right now.
I don't even have a couch or a set of dishes.. I use and wash the same plate and fork every meal.
The thing is I have the money to furnish my house, but I'm choosing to live with the minimum and they just don't understand that. Not sure how long I'll keep things this way but it'll be for all of 2013 at least.
