Let me get this straight; Cold blooded killers who just detonated bombs that killed 3 innocent people and injured 180+, murdered an MIT officer, robbed a 7-11, had a shootout with and was throwing grenades at cops, then they decided to car-jack a dude and just drove around with him for half hour and then let him go??? Why would they spare his life after killing everyone else??? It makes no sense to me. Am I over-thinking this or is that a little fishy?

I probably am, it just seems odd.
