With one of the 45ers at most gyms you can get a little bit of a flex between 5 and 6 plates.

You can make it flex with less by just jerking it around so long as you don't mind the injury that comes with.

Who cares if you get hurt, everyone will think you are so cool.

Depends on the bar. A DL bar will give you some flex with 3 plates.

Probably not. Even the really crappy Chinese bars that are in gyms are pretty durable. DL bars flex partially because they're longer, but that also add some poundage to your max pull.

I was just messing around that its warped... Those are newer bars that reallly haven't been loaded up much (other than by me of coarse). But in my old gym, some of the older bars are really warped and they freakin suck! People load the bar up with 4-5 plate on each side and never unrack them (fkn kills me!!!)

3 weeks ago my body was really broken down and tired... So I took an entire week off from the gym 2 wks ago, and last week I really eased my way back in. So when I woke up yesterday morning, I felt so fresh and rested up... I didn't even intend on maxing out yesterday, but I was in the grove and things just worked out great! My previous PB was 545X1, so breaking my previous PB by 40#s was just awesome! I'm really starting to find my grove and learn my body these days. Rest is great for breaking PB!
