Your right. Protecting, providing, and modeling what a good man is, is the best thing you can do for your daughter. Counterfeit specialists don't study counterfeit bills, they study the real thing so well that they can spot a fake when they see it. Same with men. If she knows how a good man talks, acts, and treats others, she'll be able to pass on the ones who aren't worthy of her. I don't have a daughter of my own, but I have many nieces whom I am very protective of, who's fathers are absent either physically or emotionally. Just had two of them stay over for the last couple days, in fact. I do what I can to show them what kindness, love, and solid character looks like in a man. Feeling a bit sentimental right now, but props to you and all of you dads out there for being all you can be for your kids.
