Tart Cherries - Not what You're Thinking

An interesting article on tart cherries. The news re same has concentrated on the apparent anti-inflammatory properties. This article is interesting for two other reasons. It also highlights the potential anabolic effect of the fruit, while also reporting on the FDA's efforts to prevent the cherry growers from advertising the SUBSTANTIATED scientific claims for the benefits of the fruit. One hopes that the states of Michigan and Washington will support the growers in taking on the FDA and their state universities' Ag schools in continuing with the science. Michigan State seems to have gotten off to a running start. Go Spartans!

We're reformulating Talos, our 'cycle support' product, and Sour Cherry (Tart Cherry) extract is a major ingredient in the new formula.

I drink 6 oz of the Lakewood Organic Pure Cranberry juice everyday. It looks like they have the Tart Cherry Juice as well. I might just start buying 2 of each bottle.

I had a similar thread at Primordial about this. Tart cherry manages arthritis and gout exceptionally well.

I drink a glass at night, it's a natural source of melatonin and helps me sleep.

Where do you get the juice and what brand? I usually get my lakewood juices from my local grocery store, but they only had a tart cherry blend.
