    Forearms?!

What do you people do for forearm workouts? I feel like I can't get decent size on mine and the few exercises that I do know don't seem to cut it.

I've been told that gripping bars and such for heavy weight (like deadlifts) will help, but it doesn't get the job done with myself. I also have a pair of those blue rubber things that go on bars to make it harder to grab, but they don't make much of a difference either.
If you can bench more than you can squat, you're doing it wrong!

Ever try reverse grip bb curls? Or using a rope with weight at the bottom and a stick or bar at the top... twist the bar to raise and lower the weight.

Reverse grip bb curls and the weight on a stick will get them crazy pumped and burning.

I started doing reverse grip curls about 4 months ago, I guess I should just keep at it.

I'll try the stick twist thing, sounds like it will burn, lol.

I remember that was one of the events in the old world strongest man competition with Lou Ferrigno and Franco Colombo. Good stuff and burns the hell out of your forearms.

Lots of good ideas, I'll have to try them at the end of my workout today and see how badly they burn, lol.

I think my issue right now with gripping is that my ability to grip with my left hand is really bad (hand with the two fingers that got part ripped off).

They gauged my gripping strength in physical therapy and my strength was literally off the scales, but I was able to keep pressure off the tips of my fingers. The device was pretty slim and I could rest the squeeze bar between my joints.
When I pull deadlifts, I have to use straps for anything over ~225 because the size of the bar puts too much pressure on the tips. I also haven't been able to use the phat grips since my injury.

No reason to not keep at it though, thats the whole point of the topic - get new ideas.
