Very nice work bro. Something for this old man to shoot for.
mmm steak... thats later during the fights tonight

Lets see given how strong you are, and how fast you seem to improve this should be a good goal for you for about 4 weeks, then you'll blow right past me!

Lol... there will be no "blowing past". I'm fortunate to have muscle memory on my side. Once I hit the old numbers, its back to slow and steady like everyone else. But now I can't stop thinking about that steak....

    body weight: 250
    Squat

    warmup
    150 x 3
    260 x 3
    350 x 3
    440 x 2 add wraps
    490 x 1
    530 x 1 (raw pr)
    580 x 1 (better raw pr)

    Leg press (narrow stance)
    550 x 8 x 3

Well I'm a little surprised. My knee felt loose after the sumo from thursday, and was up late watching the fights last night. I was thinking maybe I could muscle up 550.. for a new pr.. I almost did a jump squat with 530 it felt that good. Then decided I'd push the issue and went for 580, no trouble at all. I decided moving my numbers up was enough for the day. Plus I really dont like pushing my knee to far. I mean seriously thats 65 more pounds! I may have been good for 530 prior to this cycle, but in all reality to be close to 600 raw is all new territory for me on the squat. The strength gains have far exceeded my expectations! Cant wait to get the videos uploaded. Probably get them copied over tuesday.

Well lookie there, another PR! Nice going, bro... seems you've gotten quite a bit of benefit from this cycle. Wait til you try the anadrol or tren. Lol.

    thanks guys!

it will be awhile till I get around to some of the stronger stuff. I want to get my body fat down to try and help with possible sides before moving up to some of the more legendary stuff. but yes this cycle has been very good to me! Probably the only thing that would have made this better would have been a small dose of trenazone as a kickstart and probably a 6 week run instead of four. well that and taking the time to review my bloodwork prior to starting. live and learn. But strength and side wise this has exceeded my expectations.

    Thanks man!

    Here's the 530 squat:

Without my boots my knees do come forward more then I like. Poor development on my part. I'm used to having that extra support. Still felt good!

    4/30/2013
    bodyweight 248
    Bench

    warmup
    135 x 5
    225 x 5
    275 x 3 x 2
    315 x 3

Added inzer rage x training shirt
    405 x 2 3 board
    465 x 2 2 board
    515 x 1.5 board
    545 x 1 board

floor press with black bands over the bar
    135 + 1 band x 5
    225 + 2 bands x 5
    335 + 2 bands x 5

Had to do some running around at work, didn't get a good lunch in today also missed breakfast. Still got some good work in. Borrowed the red rage x I used when I competed at 220 last year. Was incredibly tight but still managed to be serviceable for a day. Have a new bench shirt and briefs on the way. Happy that we're back on tues / thurs / sat. training schedule as I like to have the day between lifts.
