    great training day today.

    max effort upper day.

    4 board presses
    185x3
    235x1
    285x1
    315x1
the 315 was a struggle, but it went up. a definite grind. never held that much weight on a bench before. the plan with that is to slowly progress down to a no board. not sure how long it will take, but ill probably alternate between benching and overhead pressing weekly.

    bamboo bar incline presses
    80x5x8

    elbows flared tricep extensions
    20x20
    25x20
    30x20
    35x15

    swiss bar rows
    115x10
    135x2x10

    mag close grip pulldowns
    60x10
    70x2x10

    face pulls
    30x3x10

    chain side delt raises
    20lb chain each hand 3x12

    sled drags
    45lb ankle walks, 200 steps
45lb hyper extension drags 50 or 60 pulls

i made the mistake of visiting my parents today and checking their freezer. turns out my mom made needhams.... needless to say, my concept of calories has gone out the window for the time being...
this stuff is great so far. plenty of energy in the gym, muscle hardness, my libido is a bit low, but thats not due to this, just real life issues with my wife :-/

    Max effort lower today!

i went in wanting to max out of SSB squats, but after talking with the trainer, he suggested i should retest a max from 8 weeks ago, so i did

wide stance squats-using the texas squat bar, 65lbs
    barx5
    115x5
    155x3
    195x2
    245x1
295x1- 270 was my old pr, i was mistaken and thought i was doing 285 here
    315x1
    335x1

335 itself isnt an overall pr, but it is for my wide stance squats. i personally hate wide stance, except for squatting onto a box. i never feel like im going deep enough, even though i am. but 335 went up easy, i had no doubt id get it. i got some insight on working up to a 1rm, where as previously id work up in triples until i couldnt do anymore. the coach told me to warm up, make bigger jumps .

    SSB seated good mornings
    155x5x6

    inverse curl
    125x8
    125x7
    115x6
    100x3
i went heavier on these and did amrap on each set. couple weeks and i may be able to do a GHR, maybe even sooner!

    100 100's
    25,25x4

    reverse hyper, pendulum swing
    90x3x12

    landmine twists
    25x18
    25x16

my bodyweight is staying about 257ish, despite me eating like shit lately. getting back on track today though.

    Speed lower today

    175x12x2
Roughly 100lbs of band weight too. 15:15 my time was terrible, but all of these were going up fast

    Speed deadlifts
    250 bar weight 8x1
240lbs roughly of band weight. 5:30

    Banded seated ssb good mornings
    110x5x5

    Inverse curl
    145x4x10
I was shocked with these. Haven't gone this low assisted yet for that many reps

    Hip band kicks
    4x25,25 n,s,e,w

    100 100s
    25,25
    15,15

First set was easy. I smoked it. Second set i struggled to get the 15 reps for situps.

    Landmine oblique twists
    25x3x20

    Strict single leg reverse hypers
    25x2x15
    25x20

Good workout today..plenty of energy. Ill have measurements and weight tomorrow when i wake up. Im loving this stuff so far.

Trained with the coach today. He came up with some interesting things that may help me along the way.

The first was putting the small bars in the top hole of the power rack, then pressing and holding against them for time. These were brutal. I used an axle for all 4 sets, with 25lbs on.

    75x3x30 seconds

Next was axle with chains on it pressed overhead and held for time
    105x1 min
    105x44 sec
    105x30 sec

Next i set up the skinny bars to about knee level and pulled against the rack
    115x40
    205x35
    205x32
    205x23

Did power cleans against bands next. Nothing heavy
95x3x3 against half of the mini red band

    Upper body sled work
    20 minutes various weights

Got some good ideas today . If i work some of these in,i will be in good shape. One was to load up the belt squat machine, grab the largest medicine ball and practice the stone clean with it

Loving this so far. The coach thought was going to be smoked from yesterday. I played along haha

No, this again is my suggestion. We need exceptional results in a short time for him competition wise.

For some reason I thought Leva was running 2-300mgs of Super Epi andro + 2-300mgs of Randro combined..but I might be wrong. Let's wait and see what he says!!!

Good work in this log so far. Exicted to see how you like this and compare results to DMZ 4.0-
