    i really couldnt tell you to be honest. im responding to some of it. im just not getting a lot of the sides others are getting. my recovery is up, to the point where i can go ham every day and not be sore the next. my strength keeps going up and doesnt seem to stop so far. i havent failed any of my max effort attempts.

    though i think im going to stop after im finished with the 4 bottles i have. i dont want to spend 160$ on something that im not positive is working 100%


    yesterdays workout
    Did a lot of upper body sled work. Too much to list or to remember. But i did probably 40 minutes or so.

    I ended up getting a lot of forearm work in with the fat bar attached to the sled. That made things terrible . Stupidly terrible.

    Then i attached the fat gripz to the crossover handles and did sled rows. Worked up to a couple trips of 180.

    Thats when things got interesting.

    I took a battle rope, attached it to the prowler and did a couple sets of hand over hand sled pulls. Worked up to a top of 430 in 56 seconds. Not good,but not bad either. Im not really set up well for it,just sitting on a box with no foot holds,but thats what makes it interesting.

    Ive got a truck or a truck with a trailer to pull the end of april. Never done that before. Will be fun

    Speed squatz mini red bands,about 50lbs a piece at the top. Didnt time these

    These felt good. Only 1 or 2 reps were slow. Some sets i can get in the groove squat down without a plop,others i think about it and it just feels forced.

    I threw on the doubled reds and couldn't lock it out. I took off 25lbs and still couldn't. I rested a few minutes and i swapped to the mini orange which added 100lbs total to it. Disappointing. The coach thinks i may be over trained a tad.

    Max upper today. Finally got the 10" log in. So i decided to use that today! Don't really have any log pr's to break so i did incline log press.

    Yesterdays workout
    Took the whole weekend off from doing pretty much anything. Should do me some good. I laid out some rules for the last 3 weeks or so of my run and im going to stick to them. Should be easy enough. Im back on carb cycling and counting calories.

    Ive been doing some band stretching to losen my mid back a bit. That seems to have fixed the problem i had with my 230 pull. The catch is much smoother now. I recorded everything and will cut it up to post later.

    Missed Wednesdays sled work and Thursdays speed squats due to real life stuff. I hate real life sometimes.

    Changed this weeks speed work up for a deload after last week's failed deadlift

    Ssb speed squats with 80lbs of chains 7:33

    It was hard doing more than a couple reps per set. Its been about 3 months since I've done anything over 2 reps for speed work.
    Chains were a good change up too. It was much harder,but a good exercise in keeping tight

    Adding some things into my training for a contest prep phase. On my max effort days,i will be doing my ME work and then something supplemental with what ever strongman equipment i can find to compliment my upcoming events.if this is not possible, ill be doing a barbell carry over instead.

    These will be every minute on the minute sets for 5-8 reps.

    Things have been about the same, I've cleaned up my diet a lot, having food prepped has helped haha. Still stronger than ever,recovery is through the roof still. Plenty of energy all day

    cut my workout a bit short today because i was ticker boy for the mens lanes at the competition today. there were some strong motherfuckers there today. one guy pulled 650 at 18 inches for 8 reps.
    i need to get refocused because ive lost my way the past few days. lots of shit going on at home :-/
    my hammies are really fucking sore from yesterdays workout. its a bit odd. im already sore from todays benching too. i did a lot of helping and setting up and lots of moving of farmers handles.

    went in today to do some sled work and some lats. the coach was also benching with a bunch of guys so i wanted to see that. he hit a 505 in a shirt, which was pretty impressive.

    Still sore from yesterday. My doms weren't full blown. Not sure why my recovery has tanked. Could be I'm adapting to the compound or anything.

    Weighed in at 252 today, in the evening.
    Libido is alright. Can still get it up, but when you're in a broken sexless marriage, you're not in the mood much.

    No hair thinning, family history of dying with a full head of hair. No darkening or quickening of facial hair, but to be fair, I can't grow much any ways

    I had a wicked good upper back and lat pump today.
