    Any books you recommend?

    Hey was just wondering if there's any books that you've read and would recommend, as I'm almost finished with my current one.

    I've already read 'You are the Placebo' and 'Mind over Medicine'.
    So I was looking for something on nutrition, exercise, hormones, weight training, health or anything similar.

    I'm a weirdo, but I've been reading the Essays of Montaigne in my free time.

    not great for fitness, but intriguing to the mind.

    I'll point Nathan over here, I bet he has some good references for reading material

    Both of those are great books. You should check out:

    "The Biology of Belief." Bruce Lipton, Ph.D

    "Wellness at Warp Speed." Dr. Noah McKay.

    Both fascinating reads and follow the same theme as the one's you've already read. I found Biology of belief to be pretty amazing as it describes how our beliefs and other thoughts actually effect us physically, down to the molecular level. It just proves that so many things in life, health and wellness included, really come down to a large part, to mind over
    matter....literally.

    It's just another reason why English and I are so adamant about having the correct mindset to accomplish what ever it is you want to accomplish in life.

    i just finished "Eat wright for your blood type" it helped me understand
    and avoid headaches, bloating etc... great read

    I don't think I would put too much stock into the blood type diet idea...Its been pretty much debunked from everything I've read.

    For my blood type O it is 100 % accurate, as i said it helped me with things like bloating which was a huge problem for me, remember people are different

    I see that O's are recommended to eat mainly meats, fruit, veggies, and avoid wheat. That is actually good dietary advice. Glad its working for you!

    I'm not really sure what to think about eating for your blood type. In some cases, different races have evolved different ways of using certain foods. For example, a majority of Africans are lactose intolerant simply because using dairy isn't something that they'ed used in their diets....same goes for Asians. But for Europeans, It's been part of their diets for millennium, so we've developed the necessary enzymes to process it effectively (depending on your lineage.)

    The other part of it is that our blood cells are build based upon the foods we eat, so when they look at the blood, they say, well, you should be eating meat, veggies, etc. But I have to think is it the case of the chicken, or the egg?

    Bottom line is, if eating for your blood type makes you feel better, by all means, go for it.
