Water fast- This is obviously the first part. Its not a problem for me. So if i get the fast out of the way, right now, would It be a bad thing if i went back to my current diet after the fast for a little bit? Because right now, I dont have the funds for the herbs and the better brands of foods at the moment YET.

And diet of now is this- My main everyday staple- Eggs, peanut butter sandwiches, tuna, lean chicken, body fortress whey protein powder, broccoli and watermelon. I just recently added the broccoli and watermelon about 2 months ago.

Prohormones- are they necessary? heard they can make you lose hair faster. It was never my choice to even take propecia at a young age 16. And idiot parent talked me into it at the time. Now at 30, having been off the drug for 5 years, my hairline is noticeably receding and at the moment, its looking like im gonna have no dick and no hair at the same time! I was talked into propecia because I have 3 brothers from other mothers who are bald, and my father was bald.

And time it takes to recover--- I'm reading that supposedly it takes 2 years to recover. I've already suffered for a decade. Not even fully aware of the fact that i had PFS until 2 months ago. Ive missed out on so much. I used to think that it was just ED. But it was definitely that damn propecia!!! While doing all this stuff to recover, will i still be able to enjoy my life at the same time? Im already getting older, and have lost alot of time. Can i still try to get laid / and or have a relationship with a woman? Im really trying to make 2017 THE YEAR!!! I could always get the woman with ease, but never keep them, due to my PFS. Some of them were like fantasy women too!!! and while they were very nice at first, but very vein and shallow as hell towards my PFS!

When you say water fasting isn't a problem for you, what do you mean? I always suggest doing this at a clinic, but that's going to cost money and time. Water fasting is an intense experience and if you've never done one before it is always a good idea to be in an environment that supports such an endevour. And environment with doctors who are familiar with the process. You're going to want to do AT LEAST seven days. This is easier said then done, especially at home.

Your diet doesn't look that bad, but your sandwiches should be on gluten free bread. If you haven't already, you have to cut out ALL dietary allergens. You also need to add more greens and vegetables. One or two green smoothies a day would suffice in this regards.

Prohormones are not necessary but they certainly speed up the time line of recovery. It's going to effect your hair, so you need to decide how you want to proceed here. Once guys get hit with PFS, they usually stop caring about their hair and just want more then anything to be healthy and functional again.

The timeline of recovery is different for everyone depending on how bad of a state they are currently in. I've had some guys get almost healed in six months, and then others take more time. The other variable here is how strictly they stick to the protocol. If you're in 100% you're going to get there quicker then if you only go at it 75%.

I get that you've lost years of your life....I would say that I've lost about ten years from the time I started propecia to the time I finally considered myself recovered.

Put it this way....if you do nothing, you're going to continue to lose more time being in that hellish state. The sooner you give it your all, the sooner you're going to be living life to the fullest again. You can't do anything about the time you've already lost, but you can do something to stop losing time to PFS. It doesn't matter how long it takes because you don't have any other options! When you go at it full bore you can rest assured knowing that you're doing everything in your power to get well and STOP WASTING your life. Whether this takes six months or two years, it doesn't matter because if you were doing nothing about it you wouldn't be getting anywhere closer to your goal.

On whether or not you can enjoy your life while doing the regimen.....are you enjoying your life now?

You are the only one who can make happiness in your life. The answer to this question is up to you. I don't see why you can't chase women while doing the recovery protocol. Again this is your call. You can chase women now but you really can't do much with them because of this problem. At least while you're healing you're going to be getting closer to eliminating these problems from your life.

Your number one goal right now is to HEAL. You need to do whatever is necessary to achieve that goal. Would you rather continue to live a half assed or "fake" life for the next five or ten years or take the next year off and then be able to chase women SUCCESSFULLY for the rest of your life?

The answer is clear to most guys that have made up their minds to get well.

The way you're asking these question is coming across as if you're actually enjoying your life now. If that was the case there would be no need for all of this work. Right?

Tell me this...what is it about this endevour that makes you think you won't be enjoying your life? Your answer will shed alot of light on your current mindset.

Good point. No I am not enjoying life right now. I've even put a halt to chasing women and or trying to find a relationship with one. I have suffered the same fate each and every single time. Holy shit, my last intimate experience with a woman, was in march 2016, and that was the icing on the cake. crazy ass experience. That girl was basically my fantasy woman. It was a wake up call for sure. I still "got the job done", she even saw me 90% hard at one point, but did i do a good job? Fuck no. You cant with PFS. The rest of our experience went downhill after that. Took me 7 months after that incident, to finally get over her. Then 2 months after that, through more trials and tribulations, i finally came to the realization that it was PFS. I've only ever done a good job 100% in the bedroom since having PFS, 2 times. 2 times out of many times. I am just "existing" these days. That is it. But my head is clear though right now. Strangely my depression levels and anxiety levels are nowhere near as bad as theyve been in the past, because i am not all heartbroken over some woman, or some failed sexual experience. My head is clearer than its ever been

Honestly, im really not enjoying life right now. I guess when you think of it, doing this regimen couldnt make my life any worse, or enjoy my life any less than i currently am. Because right now, after everything, im just basically sitting here idle and simply just "existing". i am not actually "living.

And the water fast, im all for it. I understand that it needs to be done at a therapeutic center. Trust me, i am not afraid of this.

I've gone periods in my life, where i did not drink alcohol for 8 months, and solely just sat idle, and trained in the gym, got in shape, and saved money. Then again, little did i know, that this whole isolation thing was possibly due to my PFS. But regardless, i am no stranger to isolation and doing what needs to be done to change. I've actually done it before.

I personally didn't, but there have been others that have gone after me, they may have. Maybe they can chime in here.

Regardless, it doesn't matter what they think. You can just tell them others have taken this same path and it's helped there condition so you are there do to the same.

I visited the same facility that CD went to for a couple of his fasts in California... I made them aware that I was going there in relation to issues post finasteride. They informed me that they were aware of finasteride issues, and they are aware that numerous other people had attended the facility in relation to this before me.

As a qualifier, he informed me that fasting is not a 'cure' for PFS but he could see how a medically supervised fast could benefit someone who has had such issues.

Also, they tend to preach a vegan SOS free (salt-oil-sugar) diet and lifestyle, and are very militant on their thoughts on eating meat... just know to take this with a pinch of salt and use the facility for the intended purpose - the cleanse.

But dont by any means worry about any preconceptions or worries about PFS, you will certainly not be made to feel silly in the way some conventional doctors may make you feel. A lot of the work these places do involves cleaning up the messes of society and modern medicine.

    Exactly.

The fasting in and of itself is not a "cure." It simply puts the body in the MOST receptive state for positive change by getting rid of all of the metabolic and artificial waste that is obstructing your system from being as efficient as it can be.

By building upon this clean system everything you do afterwords will go alot further in getting you to your destination.

And obviously I don't agree with their dietary recommendations, but as Swill said, use it for what's it's for, that is a safe place to do a medically supervised water fast.

Thats good to know. Good to know that if i did mention post finasteride, they would be somewhat understanding. Im the type of dude that whenever I went to a doctor, etc, i would always spill my soul out, and be so passionate about seeking help, only to get somewhat given the "stank-eye", (not literally), and that feeling always agitated the shit out of me. I know the fasting isnt the cure, but i can absolutely see how its tied in. I've walked a long road, these feet are tired at 30 years old but still got alot left. Tired but hungry!
