    Exertion headaches from sprinting

Hey everybody, so I was making great progress with the weight training and had started feeling teriffic. Therefore, i decided that it was time to incorporate some sprint work. Today I went ahead and did it with a friend of mine. I did great and was the intensity was phenomenal. However, I got these headaches around the back of my head and around the eyes that I ignored at once because I was in a competitive frame of mind. But now i as lay in bed, they are really bothering me.
I did some research and found that these are exertion headaches. I have had them previously from heavy leg days, but that was more down to not breathing correctly during the set and were not as intense.
So guys, has anyone of you suffered from this when sprinting? If so, how long did it take for you to recover.
Should I not incorporate sprint-work yet in my protocol?

I had a pain near the liver if the strints lasted more than 30 seconds after my crash.

so instead of doing it longer than 30 seconds I just hold onto dumb bells. right now just 5lbs each hand
