Tried some glycine for about a week. Low dosages. Gave me slight headache, nausea maybe, GABA like effects, light-headedness... Maybe coffee will reverse effects. L. plantarum has helped my constipation issue. Much more regular. Went three times today although stool became a bit runny. When constipated, it would be days before going. The glycine also seems to have lowered my blood sugar to the point of feeling a bit hypoglycemic. Need to be careful with this experimentation. My body is sensitive, more so than others.
