PN casein price is only $10.50/# which in my is not expensive at all. I don't seem to have any allergic incidences from it either. But I can see your point I guess.

i dont buy casein cause im lazy and hate multiple bags/tubs of protein for different meals....just use problend or their wpi/wpc blend....throw some pb or any mct oil to slow it down
