Prescription Nutrition Review - PeptoPro, Micellar Casein

I decided to go with these guys for my protein this past month, and I have to say, I'm blown away by both taste and quality of their protein powder. Here are two reviews.

Prescription Nutrition PeptoPro:

Taste: 7/10 - For a peptopro product, this actually tastes decent. Of course, it's still a protein powder (and peptopro, no less) so it's not all that great tasting. BUT, compare to other peptopro mixes, this stuff tastes like liquid gold. 7 overall because their casein blew me away in taste.

Mixability: 10/10 - I can put this in a water battle, shake it up with 50grams of rilose and it mixes perfectly.

Results: 8/10 - I haven't felt nearly as sore the day following my workout. I can't say I've noticed tons of changes (I don't think I will from a simple protein powder) but using peptopro after a workout really helps recovery.

Overall: Great product. I would recommend it to anyone.

Prescription Nutrition Micellar Casein:

Taste: 10/10 - I had no idea protein could taste this good. I've never had casein protein before, but their blueberry casein is seriously amazing with the taste.

Mixability: 7/10 - Not too bad. Much easier to mix than I thought it would be, as I've heard casein is tough to mix.

Overall: I wakeup less hungry, that's all I can really tell. But I know I'm getting an extra 25-50 grams of protein at night so it feels good!

I am fixing to order soon. Thanks for the reviews Big, I will have to order some miceller blue berry now. The peptopro is a keeper for me. Probably my favorite supplement now.

I am close to running out of leucine ( from true nut.), but I will simplify things and order from perscription nut. One thing I would like to see perscription nut. do is, to give discounts on buying powders in bulk. Compared to true nut., once you order so many units of a certain powder, they discount the price further. Otherwise I will keep ordering from both companies, as they each satisfy something I am looking for, but niether one can do it exclusively.

nice review. I am going to be trying out the peptopro soon and probably replacing the amino infusion with it for preworkout and possibly intraworkout.

Thanks for this. I've been using peptopro for a couple of years now; great stuff. I noticed, though, that while it pops up in reponse to a search request, it no longer appears on PN's casein page. Just a glitch?

I noticed it as well. I have no idea why it doesn't appear on the casein page. If you simply click "Proteins" it shows up there.

4 bags of peptopro (orange is great, lemon lime isn't bad either).
1 bag casein blueberry (AWESOME! possibly has more sugar in it, though)
1 bag Chocolate mint casein (uhh... maybe it'll grow on me?)
1 bag cookies n cream casein (I'll try it tomorrow and report back)
