    Best Oblique exercises??!!

I'm trying to work on my love handles and obliques, and I'm trying to find good exercises that will help work these areas. I already do the standard twist stuff, and side bend crap that seems to not be too effective.

    All help is much appreciated.

Side bends don't really work the obliques; they actually work a small muscle that stabilizes the spine called the quadratus lumborum. Woodchoppers are a good option to help tighten and work this area.

I'll work on incorporating woodchoppers into the mix. I've used them in the past with a medicine ball with great result.
