Anyone eat real food straight after training?

Yep, no shake, bcaas, peptopro, instead maybe a steak, eggs, ice-cream, whatever, you get the idea.

I only put importance on shakes post wo if I am not going home right away. Outside of that, shakes are a great way to get a snack in that won't destroy your diet.

one friend does this and he also doesn't eat all day. great genetics on him, not the best training principles...

looks like zyzz when he eats more, looks a lot skinnyer but lean as hell when he eats less lol, like 6'3 220.

his younger brother looks good but not as good, they both take no supps, and he just recently said "you know what's been helping with my fatloss so much man!!! FISH OIL! i just take 2 caps a day!"

All depends on what you describe as "real" food" - If highly processed shit-mix burger can be described really as "food"?
There are some "controversial" arguments that high protein shakes could work better than normal diet only if taken after workout

I'm a shake whore after hitting the gym, mainly because of convenience. I was in a pattern of hitting the gym and then going straight to work, much easier to just throw back a shake.

I'd usually give it an hour or two, then eat normal food.
If you can bench more than you can squat, you're doing it wrong!

A shake as soon as I am done working out and solid food within a half hour after that. That may change if I switch to PeptoPro intra-workout because I'd go straight to solid food when I got home.

PWO is 30-45g hydro whey+6g leucine...
45-60 minutes later I start to cook dinner.

Doing things like that keeps me from snacking at night and I don't wake up hungry either.
