These are the things I'd never go without (and the reasons):
o Vitamin D: immune, anti-cancer support
o Fish oil: essential fats the body doesn't produce and i don't eat enough fish
o Vitamin K: anti-calcification; strong bones
o Vitamin C: connective tissue support and healing
o Magnesium: almost impossible to get enough from food
I'm kind of on the fence about a multi. I think it's a good idea but I jsut can't seem to find one that doesn't cost a shit ton or is really poorly formulated.
For BBing purposes, I will never be without:
o Creatine HCL: nothing else beats it value for dollar
o High-quality whey isolate or concentrate: ensure adequate protein intake
o PeptoPro: I like the recovery but will add/subtract it as funds allow
Now some others added as needed:
o Maca: unreal boost in sex drive
o Zinc: lost in quantity due to the above
o Chromium: blood sugar control
o B-complex: difficult to get enough from food; anti-stress, anti-homocysteine
o Estrogen control: indole-3-carbinol, calcium d-glucarate: to get rid of nast endo- and exogenous hormones
o and shit ton of others, I'm really a supplement whore.

The only thing I always run is Fish oil. I add others as needed. Ever since I started going hardcore on the fruit/veggie juice I've felt pretty fantastic.
