ACLU: IRS can read your e-mail and texts without a warrant
The police state continues to grow:
IRS: We can read emails without warrant - The Hill's Hillicon Valley
More federal goons claiming to have access to your personal details, once again WITHOUT a warrant. How long would we be spending in a federal prison if we hacked into one of their computer systems and read their e-mail? Unbelievable.

The decision made in a federal court doesn't even deter them. So now the ECPA has to be updated to say that a warrant has to be obtained before they can invade our privacy. As if the fourth amendment isn't enough.
I also wonder how long they will be waiting:
"The ACLU also submitted requests for documents from the FBI and the Justice Department on their policies for emails searches, but has not received responses yet."
