History:
M1,4ADD was first sold as a supplement by Designer Supplements in 2004.

Structure and Function:
M1,4ADD is a diol prohormone to the oral steroid dianabol (via the enzyme 3bHSD). As a 1,4-diene it's not subject to reduction of the delta-4 double bond to a 5a-H configuration (instead preferentially reduced to inactive 5b-H metabolites).
